    I’ve always just used the “go snowboarding” method. It works really well.

      We don't reccomend doing it that way. works of course, but it is possible to damage your feet dpending on the boot and person. Ether way a lot of pain can be saved by breaking in your boots before hitting the slopes:)

      I’m doing that right now and it’s like having daggers jammed into my ankles 😢 (Burton imprint 3 liner)

      @@JimOutofControl thank you. I called the shop I bought you them from and they asked me to bring them in to take a look. I’ll get it checked next week.

      @@legendmir1yep. That’s a good move. If you pay for boots and are fitted correctly they should be mostly pain free. Even perfect straight up. Modern boots are like trainers these days. They aren’t hire boots.

    I always buy my boots a half size too small. Heat mold them, then wear them around the house all summer. By the time the season hit, they're broke in. 🤘🏼

    hi! thanks for the info, I was wondering if it’s okay if the boots make your feet numb when sitting? when walking around it’s alright but if I sit for a few seconds the boot is tight around the back of my ankle and i think it’s cutting into my sural nerve

    • @SnowboardAddiction
      @SnowboardAddiction  11 місяців тому +1

      Ideally boots shouldn't be making your feet numb, however if it's just when sitting Id suggest loostening your boots when resting and retighten when you go riding! and make sure you aren't overtightening your boots.

    I rented a boot in my size, ended up getting mad blisters on both heels after like 4 hours of riding. Ended up sizing up by half a size and still feels small… kinda worried

      Boots fit different depending on the brand.
      Go to a board shop and try a bunch of different pairs, it’s the only way.

      We have't used them personally - so far we are loving the ease and functionality of the Step Ons! We have more Step On content coming this season so keep an eye out :) Kevin over at Snowboardprocamp has some reviews on the clew gear go check them out if your interested!

    Must be nice to have 9.5 feet. I boot out so bad with my 14s. I cannot wear anything smaller. As such, I need a deck with a waist of 13in. I'm riding a 2017/18 Burton Descendant wide that's like 11.5in at the waist. It's so bad that I bought skis...

  • @kellz9543

    Why do they make boots so bulky and heavy though, it’s like wearing a cast on your foot.

    • @SnowboardAddiction
      @SnowboardAddiction  8 місяців тому +1

      Snowboard boots come in all shapes and sizes! Softer Flex boots are often lighter and comfier but you obviously sacrifice some control for comfort.
