Our closed streets also known as TAMA Sundays was just awarded the best closed streets in NYC! Now that's amazing! So great seeing people out and about at open air festivals and block parties again. The music was most definitely Poppin everywhere y’all went. Love seeing the motorcycle show and how awesome the custom bikes were. Hubby Anita Baker shirt was dope.

I loved this! It makes me nostalgic for when I use to live in uptown New Orleans. Just everyone hanging out and having a good time.

The open street concept is such a nice idea for the weekend, and I love that there are a lot of shops on the streets as well. Looked like a fun time!
Open streets started because of covid and giving everyone the option to just be outside and they don't all look like this! We got lucky that we already had this presence.

Aw man I'm from Jersey and i used to catch the train to New York all the time for the festivals and block parties. This vlog really made me miss being able to get to New York so easily. Now I'm 13 hours away. The song at the end is my mom's favorite song. She loves house music 🎶

*Y'all Brooklyn people be living it up. This reminds me of the Greek festival we have down here. I forgot the name of it because it has happened in like three years due to the pandemic and I hardly go. They would literally block off a sections of downtown for this. This block party looks great. This kind of reminds me of afro fest down here too.*

I made it July 9th!!! I love the people and the pride! I got a pineapple drink too! Had to be at LaGuardia at 4 to head back to Texas 😢 so I think I probably missed a lot. Hope to come back soon!
