Great looking K5 man. You nailed it with that tire/wheel combo…that looks sharp. How big you think you can go with tires before it starts to rub? 55mm?

I ran the truck outside today on some awesome terrain and the bigger tires I'm running did rub alot on the more aggressive stuff. The body took it like a champ but the stock steering servo did have a few struggles. The truck held up great though!
I've been thinking about doing the same thing with the lite bar like yours , if mine ever gets here , 😢 I think it looks better like that , was it difficult to get the holes straight ?
Nope it was super easy. Just go exactly in the center of the two holes I mentioned in the video and you should be good. I used a 1/16 drill bit. Worked like a charm. I agree on the looks I did it to both my Blazers!
hi i have a few questions will a 62mm tires fit well or will they scrape the body uf you put a little pressure on them? and will a 43mm shocks fit okay or are they to small? and if the 900 mAh battery that comes with the fcx18 k10 fit in the fcx24 k5 or is it to big?
The tires I put on in this video are 62mm. I kept them on for awhile but they do rub and give the servo a decent work out. I switched them out for a set of Proline super swamper tsl that are around 58mm. They work much better. I'm not entirely sure on the 43mm shocks. I wouldn't see why they wouldn't work. They are a little longer than stock. Might even help with the bigger tire situation. I tried to put the fcx18 battery in my fcx24. It's to big. I can't get the body to go back on with it. Might be able to relocate the battery tray if you really wanted to use it. Might not be worth all the effort though.
@HumlsHobbies ok, thank you very much and about the battery and the shocks how long does the stock 380mAh battery last on a full charge and whats the measure of the stock shocks. I really like your stuff and thanks for answering my questions
I apologize. 43mm is the stock shock size for the fcx24. So yes they will fit. The battery life I usually get around 45 minutes to an hour on my batteries. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
Yes they are. However they are kinda brittle. I cracked two of them when putting on different tires. They also have tendency to not actually lock the tire in place so the tires ends up sliding on the rim on tougher obstacles.

I don't think there is as many as the Axial scx24 but there is still alot and more coming!
