  • The gross features of the cerebellum are shown. The three peduncles are demonstrated, noting their input and output to and from the cerebellum. Emphasis is given to symptoms of cerebellar disease appearing on the same side of the body. Special emphasis is given to cortical-cerebellar connections, stressing the need for the pathways to cross twice in order to work with the descending corticospinal tract. Cerebellar functions and dysfunctions are discussed while showing clinical examples of patients with cerebellar disease.

I am not ashamed to say that I wholeheartedly recommend these videos to the students in my anatomy class. Unfortunately we have limited resources for them to visit anatomy labs and these videos are simply excellent. Thanks so much!

I can not continue watching until I offer a simple thank you to the UHSLDP channel and to Dr. Stensaas for the material provided here and in other neuroanatomy videos on the channel. I am thankful for the opportunity to freely watch such content and especially thankful to feel personally taught by such a knowledgeable individual.

I am going through recovering from ataxia, that is hell on earth, you got to love your body when it works well, we take for granted the unbelievable biochemical machine your body is. Having issues with the nervous system equals to being disabled, fortunately, I work in my house else, who knows if I did not. 1 year and 2 months has passed, still at this insane treatment rate I am giving to the unique community of cells that makes our bodies, i am not ok . Very good explanations on this lady’s videos.
