I believe that dialogue can be objectively quantified on different merits. For instance, its tonality, its logical cohesion and its propriety to the era the main drama is portrayed in. From the top of my head, the initial 'parable' with the stone and the ship on the very first episode leaves a lot to be desired in its cohesion as its meaning is completely esoteric knowledge to the writers. It cannot be easily decrypted and has little meaning to the unfolding drama. It is more of a liability than a benefit to the episode and, as such, can be considered an objectively lacking piece of writing.

I fell into the youtube hole of watching many reviews of the series (many, many) and I found yours to stand out as the clear best and most thoughtful (and fair) reviews. Thanks for your fine work.
Thank you! Yeah I watched a ton of reviews along with my own and noticed a lot of people just focused on it "being woke", "bad casting" or just repeating themselves saying "it's not Tolkien" without pointing out what exactly is wrong. I tried to go with my own style and especially the scores at the end is an element I wished more channels would include in their reviews. I've often watched a show and felt parts of it was good, but that a specific element really made the show worse (bad acting, bad dialogue, weak storytelling etc.). It felt important to me to distinct lore from other elements of film-making at least.
@@CounciloftheRings Thanks for the reply. While I have you I thought I'd mention also that the artwork you show in the reviews and in the lore videos is absolutely phenomenal, really appreciate that element in particular.
Yeah I've made a couple of posts where I mentioned the last 8 episodes of season 1 will come out in September and October 😁 It takes quite a while to produce, so I need some time so it can be released on a weekly basis.
I made it 20 minutes into the pilot. I tried so hard to give it a fair chance, but it's unwatchable. People who watched the whole show are genuinely impressive even if they have terrible taste.
I found the lack of logic in the show insulting. It honestly felt like you needed to have a low IQ in order to enjoy it. Don't question anything... just watch
I watched it all for a laugh and I had to see how bad it got. It's worse than we say. And I will never watch another minute of it agsin. I'll stick to reviews.
Thank you for speaking out in defense of Tolkien's works and common sense, Council! I truly do appreciate you and others watching the show so I don't have to 😊
The easiest metric I've found to measure the viewer enjoying the RoP is this: The more you know about Tolkien's world (read LOTR, The Silmarillion and at least The Book of Lost Tales Vol 1 and 2) the less you enjoy RoP. The less you know about Tolkien's world (never read the books, only saw the movies, or neither), the more you'll enjoy RoP. There are exceptions due to social and political agendas, but the Venn diagram of the two groups don't converge very much.
Thank you, I unsubscribed to several when they became shills for the atrocity that Amazon made. I was so glad that you were not one of them. Bless you.
I hope the account “Nerd of the Rings” is not allowed on the Council of the Rings. It seems clear he was paid by Amazon. He kept finding reasons to “love” the show, like….humming the music 🤦♂️
House of the Dragon completely destroyed Rings of Power. People thought the 2 shows will be rivals & that was the most exciting part of it all. Sad how things turned out to be. It would've been a very good fantasy battle for a decade.
Yeah, I think you were the first, I remember speaking up about my own concerns on my channel shortly thereafter, and I believe Yoystan, GnG & Red-Book voiced similar concerns around the same time too. Man, this show was a disaster, which is why your adaptation is such a joy to view!
Concil of rings ,seeing your Second Age show makes Rings of Power even more bad than it already was and seeing what we could have gotten in comparasion with what we got makes me sad
I really appreciated your tone throughout your reviews. So much of the criticisms online were of the Nerdrotic kind- ragey clickbait. It’s clear you’re a fan of Tolkien and you had substantial criticisms that you presented without screaming.
I would like to know where that 465 million went into. Aside from the initial 250 million for the rights alone. Seems like a epic ton of wasteful spending went on.
We need a bumper sticker "I Survived Amazon Rings of Power". I turned into a hate watcher and enjoyed cheeky review channels such as Council of the Rings.
Just please PLEASE don't let some minor character mutter the phrase just before being engulfed by a tidal wave....think that cringe Pirates of the Caribbean "its just good business" 🤮
One of my friends who doesn't know about the woke stuff currently told me she couldn't get through half of ep one. Even to the unknowing it registers wrong to people. And she loved the Peter Jackson films so its not an ignorance of Tolkien!
Your take on everything Tolkien is at least 10x way better than other youtubers. I've used to play videos from European Lore, Disparu, Nerdrotic, Yellow Flash and etc. But all of them except Disparu are borderline hateful and they invoke political stupidity esp EL and YF. If trying to defeat Rings of Power and its abomination is making them lose composure, then they've become what they are fighting against. Thanks for your insightful and composed manner, your videos are majestic!
Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way!!! I’m a big LOTR fan and was actually looking forward to this show but I only watched 2 episodes and completely stopped🤦🏾♂️
I have not watched one minute of rop and plan not to, bc I do not want to give Amazon one penny. But I have watched ton of reviews of the show and find them to be both educational, funny and also tragic. My heart bleeds every time I think what could have been done with that money, if put into right hands. The mess they created is a disgrace.
I would say the big difference in your example about liking bad movies, you can actually admit the movie was bad, and still like it. The Rings of Prime apologists, just like the Wheel of Time apologists, can't fathom that the show isn't good and try to argue it's the best thing since sliced bread.
It's 𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙮 bad as an adaptation of Tolkien's works because of the lore in tramples on. I don't think there is a case for asserting that RoP is 𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙮 bad as a stand alone drama, although subjectively the viewing figures do offer evidence of it's failure.
There's so much to say but i'll just talk about one aspect. The scope. For a serie with so much money I don't understand the scope choices. For all I know there's just about 200 persons living in middle earth eating dirt and smelling like poo. Same thing in Numenor? except some CGI shots all we see is a couple of random place with ordinary dudes here and there that look grumpy and stupid most of the time. Is Numemor a fancy village of 100 persons now?. So all the politics and plot twists and harsh decision feel very much lighter than it should be. The baaadd, very bad scope push me out of the show. The casual may find it more interesting that way but not me.
Everything I needed to learn about RoP, I learned here or from others who truly love the stories. These original stories came from a place of love and a quest for understanding. These stories saved a man from the horrors of war, along with countless others. People who love the stories are the ones who should be entrusted with the storytelling.
I’m so glad to hear you’ll review Season 2! My husband and I had a weekly RoP roast session where we’d pour a glass of bourbon, watch the new episode, and then watch your review immediately after. 😂
Ahahaha our dreams are chaotic just like ROP. It's a good one. From the perspective of a plot building and serie planning for this show, it is. Patrick McKay and John D. Payne had 8 little dreams, but they wrote a nightmare for the lore.
@@CounciloftheRings Ahaha the Harfoot plotline makes no difference to the Harfoot plotline. In the end, they exterminate themselves with their savage rules. And they wrote it as a comedy...
I watched Season 1 for curiosity and enjoyed and shared your reviews of each episode. But, I won't be watching Season 2, now that would be a crime against my wellbeing.
Amazon Employee here and also a lover of High Fantasy. I had been working at a fulfillment center for the past 3 years going through all the turmoil of the plandemic. And now with the recession Amazon has been cutting back our hours and making it harder for us to get shifts as they had driven away most of the customers with their $15 delivery fee. So when I see their billion dollar venture into making one of the most beautiful pieces of fiction another piece of woke propaganda fail, I cheered. Amazon has forgotten to prioritize those of us who toil away actually making the real money in the company as we have to work our asses off to even be able to qualify for a human right that is healthcare.
If I have ever been sure of something, than about not watching a single episode of season 2. I gave Season 1 a fair chance and always watched the first 4 episodes before watching any reviews or else, but after that I just couldn't get on with it. The fact that Amazon is keeping the McKaye(?) and Payne for more tells me everything I need to know about the follow up. And after all, why would I want to know more about this series than what I can pick up on channels like this one! For that matter I am looking forward to tearing it apart when it returns. My condolences for everyone, who's suffering through it to give us a good time!
Let's face it, absolutely nobody out there believed for a second that the Rings of Power could be good and that they would not end up ruining the lore. Or end up with horrible, horrible casting. Of course it was a bit surprising to see all the glowing reviews come out, but then again it wasn't. Because, oh yes: paid reviews as usual. What a surprise. Why deliver honest criticism when you can get paid royalties so other fools will buy for the product that gets you paid royalties, hmm? And why write and film something good by understanding the mindset of the single author of a story like Tolkien and putting effort into doing something with that, when you can just slap the LotR brand on some random BS you thought of in five seconds to automatically start making money of an existing fan community.
I managed 3 episodes, realised it was not going to get any better and dropped it. A travesty and should never have been made. The Tolkien estate must be like the Christie estate - anything for money.
More importantly, I think we need to revoke the self-proclaimed designation of “Tolkien Scholar” that these very obvious shills claim to represent. There was so much dishonest praise for this absurd garbage and people who shilled for the show should be exiled from polite society.
Cant wait to watch your videos on season 2 (if not cancelled). It will be hard to fix the dismal foundation of garbage in S1(Tolkien turning in his grave). They can only save it by covering the many cities and battles in the SA: SA: 1693 -1701 War of the Elves and Sauron, Sauron driven from Eriador by Númenóreans to Mordor, 3 Rings hidden, Eregion ruin, Rivendell/Imladris built, Death Celebrimbor. SA: 1800 -2350 Lond Daer Enedh built, Umbar became Númenor fortress, Pelargir Númenórean main haven built SA: 3262 -3341 Sauron prisoner in Númenor. Great Armament warships invade Aman, Númenor sinks; Changing of the World, Arnor and Gondor founded and the cities built. Sauron takes Minas Ithil. War of the Last Alliance, includes Battle of Dagorlad, Siege of Barad-dûr, Sauron defeat, loses One Ring, Deaths Ar-Pharazôn, Mariel, Amdír, Oropher, Anárion, Gil-galad, Elendil
Hair has often been symbolic of great, spiritual strength. This is not a surprising move. It is a message that the good within the stories is going a different direction.
It’s nice to see a UA-cam channel that covers a particular IP have integrity. Some channels want to be in good standing no matter what, so they turn to shilling.
Your commitment to honesty when it came to this show is why I subscribed to this channel in the first place (and unsubbed from some others). This show was nothing short of a betrayal to Tolkien fans, and a stab in the back to the hardcore fans; and there can be no accountability or justice without honesty.
Finally, a channel that really talks about the problems of the series, and not either calling it woke or accusing the failure to be because people are calling the series woke. This series is waaaaasy too shitty, no need to bring those.
Bad is a understatement, it's an abomination that goes against everything Tolkien was and is modern woke politics and bad storytelling wrapped in the skin of Middle Earth. In the coming years I'll be just a dark spot in Tolkien history that most fans will forget exist and if it's ever acknowledge will be laughed at and shamed for existing much like Dragon Ball Evolution (sorry I had to remind you that existed)
Had a comment up earlier, dont know what happened to it... Oh well... Nice Vid Council ... I watched the whole show... and unless amazon prices me out, will probably watch season 2. The Issue with RoP was the producers trying to do too much. The time compression killed any semblance of truth in the "back to the book" statement they tried to feed us early on. It was very disappointing and very disheartening to read see and hear so many in the Tolkien sphere stand up and say that the series was in good hands... when it should have been obvious that it wasnt. The story JRRT lays out, even in the appendices forms the frame work for any story you would want to tell. Story provides the frame work, the characters & their development fill the frame work, and both elements push the plot lines forward. But that never happened. There were multiple stunted story lines that they followed in S1. The Elf maiden with and incurable case of PMS, Elrond with a pompadour who apparently likes to wear drapes... his dwarven buddy who's so hormonal that he cries over a missed wedding... which ties into Celebrimbor the Aged, who happens to be the most renown elven smith since his grandfather, but needs to be taught about alloys by some chucklehead who happens to be a malevolent Maia... etc etc This could have been so much better... could have told the same story, via flash backs to different times, places, peoples... finally culminating the series with the reveal of the one ring... but no, instead we get a big pile of blah... which is the worst sin imaginable...
Y'know something went wrong when a frickin' Marvel looking D&D movie turns out more Faithful than a Tolkien TV show. As this stands ROP can only be enjoyed as an so Bad it's so Good 'Laugh at the Memes' show. (I just hope Dragon Lance is better!)
There are a few things that i actually liked in the series. The interactions between Dûrin, Disa and Elrond were overall pretty decent imo (far from all of it ofcourse). Though i was very dissapointed in how Khazad-dûm looked. It didn't feel like Khazad-dûm at all. Where are the halls? The Second hall for example? I'd have loved to at least see that one... But instead it's a massive cave with random buildings and smaller chambers carved into it.
I am part of that 37%...for having my own opinion on it, I'm glad I finished it but I wish I didn't It felt so game cutscene-y and not at all Tolkien - and I adore his work and the original LoTR movies (Hobbit was meh, okay) - made my teenage-hood. But my gosh...this show was trash. Pretty to look at. Writing. Forced messages through changes they did. No I will not be watching season 2. And if it weren't for gaming, I would have deleted prime right after the last episode.
I LOVE Tolkien and his works, as well as the LoTR trilogy. I somewhat also enjoy the hobbit trilogy. Key word SOMEWHAT lol I haven’t even bothered watching rings of power. I refuse to submit myself to such an amateur attempt at Tolkien’s work. Just like I refuse to watch anything Star Wars under Disney. No thanks, I’ll stick to the books and Jackson’s movies.
Now I dont know anything about numenor but I would argue a better quote would be a joking one like "we sea men give birth to our nations prosperity" as a play on words for immature audience members and since port towns like numenor usually rely on sea trade and fishing businesses. So they do the most to let their city prosper in a way. Not sure if that would fit better in the clips context or not since I havent bothered to watch it myself. Dont wanna be disappointed. Feel free to let me know kindly.
It's a shame that so many good shows got canceled (the one that hurts the most for me is the emmy award winner Dark Crystal Age of Resistance, burn in hell netflix) while this shitfest already have It's 2nd season ready
I thought that Episode 1 was okay, and when things started to come together in Episodes 7 and 8 I felt like the show started to find its footing. Sadly, Episodes 2-6 were all pretty messy in terms of pacing, dialogue, plot contrivances, and failure to explain certain parts of the plot.
I didn't watch RoP, just the videos about it on your channel. And these videos affirmed the impression I got from the marketing campaign. RoP was a macabre display of current day mental illnesses that devour the entertainment industry.
Your reviews of season one were very good, best by far of the many Chanel’s reviewing this series. Love the fact checks, considered analysis and comments. Well done. Honestly, I think this debacle is due to the people and culture of the writers and producers….all looking to be popular, edgy and funny, in their own way. The result is a very poorly assembled show, with disgraceful effort on dialogue, costumes, and pace. The obvious deviations from established Tolkien lore became irritating and disrespectful, again, I think due to the lazy and feel-good culture of the production staff. Altogether, an opportunity wasted, and a worthless show. Enjoy your videos, please keep going.
i loved the LOTR movies, the hobbit was also nice to watch, but it was worse than the first movies. they did bullshit like the barrel scene 🤦♂️ the elves were way too overpowered, for example. I had not much hope for the ROP series, but I had no imagine how hard they would fail. how could ever a human on this earth think that people would like this piece of s***?!!!
Iirc Amazon made a deal to produce 5 seasons of the Rings of Power so pretty sure we will get more. -____- One of my friends proved he knows very little of Tolkien-lore when he said he liked the show more than he disliked it. :D

Yeah I've made a couple of posts where I mentioned the last 8 episodes of season 1 will come out in September and October 😁 It takes quite a while to produce, so I need some time so it can be released on a weekly basis.
@@CounciloftheRings thanks👍
I made it 20 minutes into the pilot. I tried so hard to give it a fair chance, but it's unwatchable. People who watched the whole show are genuinely impressive even if they have terrible taste.
I found the lack of logic in the show insulting. It honestly felt like you needed to have a low IQ in order to enjoy it. Don't question anything... just watch
I watched it all for a laugh and I had to see how bad it got. It's worse than we say. And I will never watch another minute of it agsin. I'll stick to reviews.
I didn't get past the intro. 6 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
@@TheItalianPepe do i get a medal for watching it all?? i had to see how bad it was.
Those people who watched season one must have been living in airport lounges.
Thank you for speaking out in defense of Tolkien's works and common sense, Council! I truly do appreciate you and others watching the show so I don't have to 😊
Agreed! Hear hear
I didn't manage to watch even one episode. Gave up after 36 minutes, in two tries, when it was clear it had nothing to do with Tolkien.
The easiest metric I've found to measure the viewer enjoying the RoP is this:
The more you know about Tolkien's world (read LOTR, The Silmarillion and at least The Book of Lost Tales Vol 1 and 2) the less you enjoy RoP.
I appreciate you not selling out. I unsubbed several channels when it was obvious they were shills.
House of the Dragon completely destroyed Rings of Power. People thought the 2 shows will be rivals & that was the most exciting part of it all. Sad how things turned out to be. It would've been a very good fantasy battle for a decade.
ring of power:" you've beaten me at my own game"
house of dragons:" don't flatter yourself, you were never even a player"
Yeah, I think you were the first, I remember speaking up about my own concerns on my channel shortly thereafter, and I believe Yoystan, GnG & Red-Book voiced similar concerns around the same time too.
Man, this show was a disaster, which is why your adaptation is such a joy to view!
Guyladriel...needs no man. Where's Celeborn?
Celeborn is pregnant with Celebrian so he could not partake in any dangerous activities.🤪
Concil of rings ,seeing your Second Age show makes Rings of Power even more bad than it already was and seeing what we could have gotten in comparasion with what we got makes me sad
Thanks! Yeah it's what provokes me the most too
I really appreciated your tone throughout your reviews. So much of the criticisms online were of the Nerdrotic kind- ragey clickbait. It’s clear you’re a fan of Tolkien and you had substantial criticisms that you presented without screaming.
Yeah keeping calm was key to me, hahaha. Not always an easy task, but it felt better making jokes about it than just raging
I would like to know where that 465 million went into. Aside from the initial 250 million for the rights alone. Seems like a epic ton of wasteful spending went on.
Stolen like the Silmarils!
"the sea is always right" is a good motto, as in "make a mistake on the sea and you are f****d" like, you cant argue with the sea
As I have said elsewhere All this series is is a D&D scenario set on a map of middle earth.
We need a bumper sticker "I Survived Amazon Rings of Power". I turned into a hate watcher and enjoyed cheeky review channels such as Council of the Rings.
I wonder if they'll still say the sea is always right after it swallows their island....
A bit cynical perhaps XD
thousands of innocent people drown in the sea and Elendil looks back: "The sea is still always right!"
@@CounciloftheRings 🤭😂
Just please PLEASE don't let some minor character mutter the phrase just before being engulfed by a tidal wave....think that cringe Pirates of the Caribbean "its just good business" 🤮
This is hilarious 😂😂😂
Thank you 🙏
Glad I’m not the only one who feels this way!!!
True true
Cheese has no friends though, and I haven't seen a seagull drinking tea on any given Friday, sooooo....
I’m so glad to hear you’ll review Season 2! My husband and I had a weekly RoP roast session where we’d pour a glass of bourbon, watch the new episode, and then watch your review immediately after. 😂
Hahahah at your service!
@@CounciloftheRings ditto! I remember your long sighs when talking about how they butchered the lore.
Now that's doing it in style. 🥃
Ahahaha our dreams are chaotic just like ROP. It's a good one. From the perspective of a plot building and serie planning for this show, it is. Patrick McKay and John D. Payne had 8 little dreams, but they wrote a nightmare for the lore.
I just find it a bit comedic you could edit out the entire Harfoot plotline and it would make no difference for the other plotlines XD
Any update on the Kingdoms of arda mod?
There are some community posts on my other channel Macbeth of Gondor.
I hope to make another video on that channel soon
Try as I may, I couldn't even hate watch it to the end.
Last thing I saw was when they got Pompeii'd.
If season 2 will be like the first season, I cannot see how they could continue this series. The visuals can only make up for so much.
indeed
Agreed!
It won’t be like the first season. It will be worse. Much worse.
They can only save it by covering the many cities and battles in the SA:
SA: 1693 -1701
War of the Elves and Sauron, Sauron driven from Eriador by Númenóreans to Mordor, 3 Rings hidden, Eregion ruin, Rivendell/Imladris built, Death Celebrimbor.
SA: 1800 -2350
Lond Daer Enedh built, Umbar became Númenor fortress, Pelargir Númenórean main haven built
SA: 3262 -3341 Sauron prisoner in Númenor.
I knew we are in for a rough ride when I saw the photos of elves with short hair.
Hahaha yeah I'll never get over that either
Hair has often been symbolic of great, spiritual strength. This is not a surprising move. It is a message that the good within the stories is going a different direction.
I would rather be surrounded by NeekerBreekers than watch the next series.... I will on the other hand, watch people rip it apart,,,,,
Touché NeekeeBreekers are much easier to listen to than Warrior Galadriel.
You get an extra lore thumbs up 👍 for that joke 😆
Thank you for watching and reviewing to save so many from the pain and loss of precious time!
straight up false advertising
I've read the Silmarillion 3 times, and I couldn't even get through the 1st episode.
They chose Tolkien's stories because of his huge fan base, and then corrupted it, why on Middle Earth did they think that would work?..
I barely made it through episode one..!
It’s nice to see a UA-cam channel that covers a particular IP have integrity. Some channels want to be in good standing no matter what, so they turn to shilling.
Can we all just call it for what it is the Rings of Prime. Nothing else.
When your elf princess looks like she belongs on a lesbian softball team, it's a firm failure.
Your commitment to honesty when it came to this show is why I subscribed to this channel in the first place (and unsubbed from some others). This show was nothing short of a betrayal to Tolkien fans, and a stab in the back to the hardcore fans; and there can be no accountability or justice without honesty.
Make that moneyyyyy!!!
That show sucked so badly until it's not even funny! 😂
The Elf maiden with and incurable case of PMS, Elrond with a pompadour who apparently likes to wear drapes... his dwarven buddy who's so hormonal that he cries over a missed wedding... which ties into Celebrimbor the Aged, who happens to be the most renown elven smith since his grandfather, but needs to be taught about alloys by some chucklehead who happens to be a malevolent Maia... etc etc
This could have been so much better... could have told the same story, via flash backs to different times, places, peoples... finally culminating the series with the reveal of the one ring... but no, instead we get a big pile of blah... which is the worst sin imaginable...
The show had flaws. 9/10
Nerd of the rings.
🤑
Y'know something went wrong when a frickin' Marvel looking D&D movie turns out more Faithful than a Tolkien TV show.
As this stands ROP can only be enjoyed as an so Bad it's so Good 'Laugh at the Memes' show. (I just hope Dragon Lance is better!)
As bad as ROP was, the She-Hulk TV show was far worse. I experienced physical and mental pain watching that garbage.
Yeah it didn’t feel like Khazad-dûm to me either
@@CounciloftheRings Loved the OST tho, i still listen to it while working on my own Moria project.
"based on tolkeins work"
Disliked immediately.
I forced my self to watch the first 2 episodes but when Eldendil showed up, at least 1800 years too early, I switched the tv off.
😁
I am a simple Rohirrim, while i won't watch stuff about this disgrace of tolkien anymore, i still click a like.
Even if they had f*cked up the lore they still didnt know how to make a fun show. There was nothing that i enjoyed about it.
Lol, less than 37% finished the show. I watched it in it's entirety in order to watch your breakdown of it afterwards... 😅
Hahaha yeah exactly I heard that from a colleague as well XD
I mean they were warned that this show won't be good. One does not simply make a lotr series.
I am part of that 37%...for having my own opinion on it, I'm glad I finished it but I wish I didn't
It felt so game cutscene-y and not at all Tolkien - and I adore his work and the original LoTR movies (Hobbit was meh, okay) - made my teenage-hood.
Key word SOMEWHAT lol
I haven’t even bothered watching rings of power.
I refuse to submit myself to such an amateur attempt at Tolkien’s work.
Just like I refuse to watch anything Star Wars under Disney.
No thanks, I’ll stick to the books and Jackson’s movies.
Understandable
The only thing I liked was Bear McCreary's soundtrack (Ex. Sauron, Kazad-Dum, and Numenor).
I'd have to drink to get through the show. So, thank you, sir for torturing yourself for good content.
If I drunk during season 1, I’d definitely have fallen asleep. (Didn’t watch it at all though; got better things to do than watch such gorp.)
Thank you for enduring. And in case you do lose your mind be assured it won't hurt that much anymore - I hope.
God bless you.
0:42 Liberty for the horse!
At least RoP gave us the norrie(?) screaming meme...it shall live forever
How can you screw up the lord of the rings ?
One of my friends proved he knows very little of Tolkien-lore when he said he liked the show more than he disliked it. :D
My friend’s little brother likes it too sadly 😂
Who did Amazon make a deal with?
