#violence #cultclassic #actionfilms A fan review of the cult classic 2000 film directed by Christopher Mcquarrie THE WAY OF THE GUN - EASTER EGGS filmschoolreje...
It's interesting that you mention heat; The taqueria scene with Del Toro and Caan always felt like McQuarrie one-upping the famous diner scene in Heat with De Niro and Pacino... it parallels it in a lot of ways at first and then moves into mocking it when Del Toro and Caan move past the posturing of Heat and into being completely relaxed with each other if unable to escape the circumstances of being on opposing sides, IMO.

Went to the Theater for this film back in 2000 when I was 16. A gem throughout for me.
