checkmate showdown is a newly developed fighting game made by 2 indie dev companies; manavoid and bad rez games.
i encourage people to play the game on the free weekend 8th of September till the 10th because this game has a lot of fun and competitiveness to offer.

The concept is somewhat reminiscent of the game FPS Chess.
