Well when you have new art supplies outside of what you've ever used you have to feel the media out first and see what it can and cant do ect. I had gotten a 20ish set of cheap POSCO marker and spent forever testing out a large variety of things and, that was after prior using a couple of them loaned to my by my art teacher. I found that a few of them were coincidentally blue; UV reactive.
usually he doesn't care that much, simply because he makes "silly" enjoyable youtube videos, but when there is a sponsor in it and you are getting payed good money, of course you'd wanna try harder
Q: Stuart Semple has LOTS of great glow in the dark, color changing, glittering fun professional art material. I would love to see what you can make with them
the fact that this was a new medium that you executed really well really speaks to your level of skill. huge props to you, this was such a fun video to watch and the results were insane!!
Glow paint looks really cool when you paint the "outline" of a room with it. Just a thin line on each corner, and it kinda looks like Tron when the lights go out.
I think my favorite thing about this is, when you turn on the UV light, you see all these glowing eyes of the people in the background that you didn’t notice before. So sinister!
This is actually so freaking cool. Like how when u turn the lights off the messages u don’t see with the lights on come to life is SO COOL. LIKE WOAH DUDE. IT JUST LOOKS SO GOOD
As a beginner Artist well I can't call myself an Artist now but I know how much time it takes to decide and draw and colour a sketch. So I thought a video idea based on the efforts. Video idea : Unedited Art Video. In this you will not edit the time or out timelapse and show all your time and efforts in this video. Please do this so that we can understand how much efforts and time it takes to draw and colour and sketch. I am a big fan and you've helped know what I love to do that is drawing. Love you JAZZA
I mean if you make art and have a passion for it then youre an artist. You dont have to be the best, just put your heart into it. You are an artist. Very cliche sounding but its true. Also thats a great idea
Jazza! You are just so much fun! The content is outstandingly amazing. The Non-Stop excitement, your artisticness, the colours, your animated fun-ness all the time, the music! Just everything! I have people say this to me all the time so I am ecstatic to think and share that same feeling with another! Thank you for doing what you do, and sharing it for the world to see and love! I absolutely love it!!! Makes me happy 🤗
Amazing art work jazza!!!! It is soo cool! Both the day light and lights off version. As always! But my HEART pounded like Crazy when you applied paint on that amazing Painting you did! I remember watching when you were painting that one.
I've watched dozens of your videos now & this is for sure my favorite result you've made via painting or drawing. It's amazing how you were able to incorporate 2 totally different moods in 1. Well thought out!
I'm not sure a glow experiment is complete without using the culture hustle (stuart semple) glow pigments. In fact you should do stuff with all of their interesting paints (blackest black, colour shift, mirror).
I have made my own glow in the dark paint, I have brought glow in the dark powder, with color and without. Mixed the powder with acryilic base and when I needed another color I could add some acryilic to have the color I needed. Btw the powder seperates from the base if you leave it for many days, I little stir and its good to go. My second experiment, is a glow in the dark acrilic base its thick with glitter to make a special glitter effect with glow in the dark.
You'll have to get your hands on some LIT pigment from Stuart Semple. It's the "glowiest" glow pigment available. I'm testing it out this week and it's REALLY impressive, even just with normal light.
I had a thought earlier, but lack the artistic talent to execute it. When dealing with glow-in-the-dark pigments (not the uv-active ones), usually the reds and oranges only last a short while, whereas the greens and blues can last up to a full night, so you could make a landscape scene (I think a tropical beach would work best) with the sun just over the horizon, and then when you turn the lights off, you get a sunset that slowly fades out until all you're left with is the blue-green of the moon and stars. You could even put a very light blue glow to the whole sky so the foreground bits would be silhouettes.
yo this is a messege to jaza, just wanted to say that ive been watching u for a while and lately your vids are taken to another lvl. keep up the realy good work loved the vid and music
That is so freaking cool! I love everything about it! The idea to show two sides of Watch Dogs so brilliantly in the one brilliant artwork with the flip of a UV light "Chef's kiss" SO DAMN GOOD!
The most awesome part (and ingenious idea) is the Albion sign in the top right. Normal by day; so cool at night. Using the "v" in severe as the down arrow...*chef's kiss*
The dude in the corner (dressed in purple) reminds me of the old man from the "chisel tip" video from forever ago... Now I'm thinking how this dude became the old woodcarving man...
I think if you had mixed glow pigments into a transparent medium and painted with that instead, then your hidden image would have been truly and completely concealed in the light. Just a thought.
jazza has many titles, but outside of the usuals he is a CONSUMER. I know the products contribute to the video he provides for us but he does not hold back. Imagine buying that many markers(remember the marker quality test video, with a bagillion brands)? The Australian currency goes full nascar off of Jazza's shopping alone
This is awesome! I bought some glow in the dark ink months ago and didn’t quite know what to use it for yet. This is super inspiring, thank you, Jazza :D

Why does it feel like he's recent videos is always in a rush... I miss him being normal and not taking his projects too serious... But even though, i still love his content!!
This doesn't feel rushed at all? It's just the same as his normal videos. And there's nothing wrong with him loving what he does so he takes it serious
Not sure that anyone could say that he's in a rush... He posted a video a while back that the extent of his childishness and goofiness was largely an act that he was getting tired of. He's decided to slow down and enjoy the art rather than try to make something that the youtube algorithm will push. This is more accurate to who he is, an adult who gets to play with artwork but takes it with the seriousness that is demanded in the moment.
Id recxomwnd watching some of his recent videos on this channel nd the other channel discussing how he felt he had swung too childish and was acting too extreme and overall forcing a "character" of himself rather then simply being natural like how he started videos. His recent videos are just a more realistic him. He's still very happy and enthusiastic without the over extreme enthusiasm :) The videos themselves are filmed about the same as far as having a time lapse and such. They don't feel any more or less rushed then they used to imo?
Easily the ‘V’ as the arrow pointing to “terrorist” is my favorite detail.
I really liked the spooky eyes from the windows, THEY ARE WATCHING
When the cord on the radio turned into chains my jaw was ON. THE. FLOOR.
Jazza: **does cool outro by sliding into the dark**
His chair: " **squeak-queak-squeak-queak-queak** "
They totally added that sound :D
:D
I expected, as he disappeared into the darkness, to hear CRASH THUD OWWWW! : )
Needs some wd40
I think that just abt sums up his whole channel lol
I'm more impressed by jazza being able to plan and execute these perfectly with all new materials than him actually drawing that
Yeah, I think mostly because he tries new things !
istg i thought i was the only one thinking that.
