Your sour dough bread looks beautiful! I love seeing all the things you've canned on the shelves in your pantry. Su satisfying. Love your videos. Your kids are so cute. ❤
You’re an inspiration ☺️ for hang drying, I put about 10 eye screws into my patio roof wood trim, small enough nobody even notices them. Perfect for hangers!
It's a joy to come along with you on a couple DITL. I wasn't a stay at home mom but i certainly wish I was. I can't change that, but it's a a great choice! Family is everything.
Hey Lynette try rolling the lemons on the counter or blast them in the microwave for about 10 seconds - both of these tips will yield much more lemon juice. Your bread skills have progressed really well and the loaves sound delicious. Also next time you stay over at a hotel pick up a few shower caps, they’re brilliant for covering your dough when it’s proofing. Loved hearing Oaklynn sign, so sweet.
Lynette, new viewer here! Your kitchen is beautiful! My 18 year old son loves the Chobani flip also, he eats like 4 at a time after football practice. My Grandma was raised in a Mennonite household in PA and I wish I had learned more from her growing up! Just fun seeing you and your home. Beautiful family, thanks for sharing! Cheers from Atlanta!
This video was my “mid-morning” rest period (I get up at 4am MST everyday and it was 7:30 when I sat down), just loved the content this morning. Oakland has grown so much and quite the little lady and Harper made me chuckle when she took her fruit and sat on the floor to eat it! Thanks for sharing your day Lynette!
Knew someone who bought grapes and froze them for the children’s lunch. Will keep sandwich cold and grapes will be thawed by lunchtime. Love everything you baked and cooked. New things to try are a blessing and children are such a joy even when a little grouchy. Such is the life of a busy wife and mother. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, The food looks amazingly wonderful! Oaklynn (sorry if I misspelled it!) cracks me up with her hamming it up- she's such a character. She reminds me of my oldest who is very much a character. Thank you for sharing!
I use one cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice (4-5 lemons), and one cup of sugar to make two quarts of lemonade. I do make a simple syrup with the sugar and one cup of water.
I love your videos and watching you bake bread. So fun to see the girls helping in the kitchen. You are so organized and thinking ahead for those boys' lunches!! Thank you for another great, calm, inspiring video!!
You my friend are a wonderful mother! What you get done in a day makes me tired. The sourdough bread looked so good 😋and I can only imagine the delish aroma coming from your kitchen!
Little ones are little for such a short amount of time and I miss my little ones so much! Your bread looks beautiful and Lisa is such a good teacher. I have been watching her for years!! Love the video!
You should see Lynette if Florida does azure standard bulk food, you order online and they have drops you can go pick up your food, sometimes it can be cheaper! We love it! They have all kinds of things.
Hey Lynette, I love your videos, I always look forward to them because they are so wholesome, filled with valuable and practical skills and in general so peaceful and inspiring. Great work and thank you - Olivia
You make such good videos. I sure enjoy them. Your bread looked so good and you know the ketchup is going to be better than bought. I love the way you dress so very refreshing. I'm a church girl and I love my dresses and skirts. Thats all I wear and so its nice to see someone else dress that way. Thank You!
Hi Lynette. Your recipes look so yummy. Yes, the price of food is difficult to keep up with. I often find the produce is so old by the time we get it. When I see lower prices on produce, by now, I know it's been sitting on a truck somewhere. Growing up in big families has taught us many ways to get by, like growing our own vegetables and having chickens, etc. Unfortunately, not all of us can do that anymore. I feel really bad for big families and pensioners the most. Harper and Oaklynn are adorable. I can't get over how fast time flies by. I like your apron alot. I recently watched a Christmas movie called The Christmas Apron. It was so cute. Your apron reminded me of it. May the good Lord continue to bless you and yours abundantly. ❤
You are an amazing wife and Mother. Your food looks yummy and so does your coffee. How do you find the time to do all of that bread making and canning. I admire you.
I freeze the Sams hoagies and dinner rolls too- they always taste fresh when we take them out. I pair them with the Sams Broccoli Cheese soup for a quick lunch. All my girls love it!
Thank you for showing the surrounding area around your home. I grew up in FLA and miss seeing nature from my home state. When I visit I love sitting in my Aunts backyard inside the pool screen house and not getting mosquito bites. 🙂
I hang laundry out, weather permitting. I just bought an extra laundry wrack to put more clothes on when I can't hang outside. Harper is so cute, I always thought she looked just like your husband but today I saw some of Oaklynn in her. Love your video's.
My husband and I are finishing our first year in Sarasota County (Venice). We do have so much to do- all the parks, the beach, farm and ranch land nearby. It’s perfect for us, too. Lovely people, too. Such a blessing.
Loved the video made me feel like fall and putting up with mom and my girls each year. I also and my mom too always taught my son how to cook when he wanted to be there too. I still cook in large amounts and freeze.
I know I've said it before, but I so appreciate your videos! We aren't living in Sarasota quite yet, but we were there looking at homes last week and its so nice to see more of what locals do there. I also love the potato haystack idea. I've never really thought of using potatoes. We've only ever done rice. But your kids are super cute and I love seeing what your family does in Sarasota! Thanks again!
I used put in the snack size bags when they came out I also had reusable containers sandwhich n whatever on the side sometimes chips grapes oranges whatever else . I bought go guts when possible n froze they helped to keep lunch cold n were perfect at lunch.
Love your cooking videos and your bread looks delicious Harper and Oakland are so sweet and I love the way Oakland always wants to help mommy in the kitchen, my son helped me a lot in the kitchen when he was younger and now he really knows how to cook. I think it’s very important to teach them from little on up God bless! 🍁🍁
Lynette, you are a fabulous mother and homemaker!!!! I love how you are teaching your older children to cook. I keep watching you make this bread and it looks so good. Great video!!!
You are so creative, Lynette. Whether it is cooking for your wonderful family or decorating your beautiful home, your creativity just shines through so brightly. ♥️
Fun as always, Lynette! I always love seeing your sourdough. I thought you had a great tip of sticking with one source until you have a base of knowledge about the sourdough.
Love food inspiration! I see you are using your lemon squeeze the way I did until my husband showed me the proper way . Those are actually intended to be used by putting the lemon in face down toward the holes . You get more juice that way .😊
Everything in Florida is going up in price! We are looking at moving to Ohio near our sons when my husband retires due to cost of living. Friends of ours are returning to MS when her retires. Love your videos!! They are a highlight of my week!
Cost of food in Australia is continually appearing to be creeping up each week also - 500g spreadable butter jumped 35 cents within 1 wk. Lemon butter/curd is a great way to use up juice & seems to keep for ages in the fridge - use in pastry cases, cake fillings etc
Hi Lynette. Great video .love watching your daughters in the videos they are growing so fast. I'm like you love challenges. Glad you mastered the sour dough bread congratulations. Love to hear your recipes. So true your advice I went thru that on trying to make simple soups. So I created my own and had a friend try it and she actually loved it and asked me how did I make it. I'm into new recipes and cooking . Thank you for sharing this tips.May God continue to bless you and strengthen you each day. Have a blessed week.
Your sourdough looks amazing! I tried several times to make the starter and failed. I finally gave up. BTW, I agree with you that here in in Florida food prices are outrageous!
I enjoyed this so much today, Lynette! You looked so pretty in the tan and white gingham dress and apron. I want to try to make the haystacks sometime. I think my husband and son would really enjoy those. It is always such a joy to see you and your sweet family. May God's continual blessings rest upon all of you!
I second that. Sourdough is one of those things that becomes more intimidating and confusing with study. Lisa was my guru too. And ultimately I use this as my standard: women who were traversing in wagons; handling children and survival while on wheels and crossing rivers - these women were using sourdough to feed their families. In my fancy kitchen with electricity and ovens and all of the luxury I have: I can CERTAINLY do sourdough successfully if they could.
I love your videos, each and everyone is relly wonderful. I learned so much from you since I started to follow you several years ago. I also have found the Lord again because of you and restored my faith. Your children are so adorable. May you and yours abundantly blessed.
Harper is a real joy , with her dolly's and trying to dress herself. Children are such a blessing.
You brought out some really good and specific point for a husband's prayer for his wife. I can relate to them.
You are such a wonderful example for so many mommas. Your goodness shines thru! 😅
I love love your videos. You are such a busy and productive homemaker, Nick and the kids are so blessed to have you!
😮 make me tired watching you.
Your sour dough bread looks beautiful! I love seeing all the things you've canned on the shelves in your pantry. Su satisfying. Love your videos. Your kids are so cute. ❤
I always enjoy watching you and your lovely family Lynette, the sourdough bread looked lovely. Have a good week xx

If you keep the lemon rinds and boil them,it makes your house smell better, use the boiled lemon and add to lemonade later to stretch it

Love everything you baked and cooked. New things to try are a blessing and children are such a joy even when a little grouchy. Such is the life of a busy wife and mother. Thank you for sharing.
I love that you take the time during an incredibly busy day to make yourself a specialty coffee!
