I don’t think Dominique McElligott gets enough credit for her role as Maeve just like Antony Starr does as Homelander. She’s amazing and definitely Emmy-worthy acting!
I love how she starts off devoid of emotion and relationships, but with starlight in her life, she starts to care and love again sacrificing herself to save her. I do miss her in season 4, but i am glad that she is recovering and living a happy life.
Maeve saved their lives 3 times, mainly starlight's. she's an underrated character that always shows up when they need her and without her the whole story would be different cause starlight would have died with black noir and then soldier boy. she stuck up for starlight and homelander pointed out she never did that, for anyone. underrated is an understatement.
Watching The Boys would have got me against the concept of superheroes, if not for Maeve and Starlight! Maeve's smile alone is magic enough to heal all!
