Hello guys, I would like to see your opinion on some changes that should be made to Yu Shong.
1: when the passive marks erupt and the target dies, the passive is immediately cancelled, it is rare but it would be very good if the passive takes effect in these conditions, here is an example:
if there is a target with 3 yu shong marks and we use skill 1 but the skill kills the target (clearly hitting it with the edge of the cloak) the passive does not take effect and the orbs of hp and cha essence are lost.
2: improve the speed with which the orbs of hp and sha essence reach yu shong, that they reach yu shong faster.
3: new effect: the passive takes effect in jungle mounts but only the damage and not the recovery of hp or sha essence.
4: new ulti effect: when you detransform from the dragon form and go into the dragonoid form, it pushes the enemies as it does in its dragon form, (if you didn't understand it's simple, when that mini-explosion appears, it pushes the enemies)

YZ is not hated. I admit, he was too strong when he was still new back then. Those nerfs are justifiable. I think, the most hated hero by the developers are the ones that are not "marketable" because Moonton is Moonton anyway.

Once, I use Alpha jungle with festival of blood talent and my build is warrior boots, dominance ice, blade armor, antique cuirass, bloodlust axe, and oracle. Guess what, Beatrix use her broken shotgun and she just 4 shot me with that Wesker. *BALANCE* indeed!
Yu Zhong’s current state is the perfect example of a _TRUE_ balanced Hero
He’s neither too weak or too strong, there will either be a good yz player or a bad one. And so as long u know how to properly play him, he’ll definitely be scary to face against.
nope , he is in the b tier right now , u cn nerf his damage , that is fine , but that nerf on his ult cancelling the knockback made him mediocre at best and his passive dealy increased by 3 sec too just revert those changes , if he is too strong then nerf damage , cause his ult is just a worse sprint right now

Tips for Yz user: Take 2nd skill first for sustainability. 3rd skill is your main escape skill, use wisely, prioritize the use ofyour ult for chasing dying enemies, zoning out area for your team, destroying enemies formation and lock on enemies core mage or mm.
He's the most perfect example of sustain fighter in my opinion, hard cc, decent heal and an ultimate that can be use to flank enemy heroes on the back lane or use it to escape when necessary
If there's a buff that he needs then I think that he needs a better hp growth
I think they heavily nerfed the extra HP you get in YZ's dragonoid form and for me I'm fine with that, since that means that I can build a decent item regarding in increasing HP and defense

His passive lifesteal needs to happen faster its too slow for late game.
I think the problem with him is that during late game, the enemy marksman would just melt him like butter cuz of their attack speed/damage(since he shines the most on drawn out fights).
If they add another item that can increase healing, I think he'll march his way back to the meta. The problem is that his passive takes way too damn long to come to you. I'd rank him B+ in the current meta.

@@ray.7447 i remember it, it before patch 1.5.08, like 2month yu zhong stay in ban list. I remember his passive only takes 1sec to get the heal (now 2sec), that makes he very aggresive in early and teamfight. After that patch, yuzhong is kinda balanced but Moonton think his infinite knocback during ult is kinda op, people can't escape yuzhong because of the knockback, so Moonton nerf him. Yuzhong is not popular now, i rarely saw yz player.

Yu zhong is strong but I am having problems using his skills that have very long cooldowns, this makes it hard to CC enemies.Another thing is he doesnt have target locked skills.Could be better if we can use basic attack while 1st skill is activated. He is kinda squishy too especially when enemies are full of slowing skills
Maybe try using CD reduction try using Max CD reduction 40% that is what IM using then atleast 2 offensive item and the rest is def to last longer

Not really lol. He's OP if you know how to use him properly. Man people just liking your comment blindly without knowing the hero well and tbh they just suck at using the hero that's why they agree. But to be fair that's my first impression on YZ when I first use him even tho I understood how his skills works but not knowing how to utilize his skills and use him effectively as a fighter in exp lane. Try to watch Qwean or DhatzTv YuZhong gameplays you'll learn properly how to use him as a sustain damage fighter and being tanky at the same time.

In my opinion, I think, there are several problems with Yu Zhong right now! Sometimes Passive takes way too long to heal you, and it makes Spellvamp build less effective: Second is, Dragon Form needs higher Durrability; And Finally, his Passive's Damage is greatly rediced when enemy uses shield effects. This would be OK if shields were only from Aegis, but instead nearly every Meta and New heroes have shield effects on passives or skills, which makes it a lot more annoying for Yu Zhong to kill them!

He's my secondary main and been playing him since his release. And i kinda agree with the nerfs he received cause his sustain and damage were too overpowered. The nerf that hit the hardest for me is the delayed heal from his passive, it was delayed by one second but that one second heal can make him sustain a lot. I hope they don't nerf him anymore

After all the nerfs they gave YZ, he's still pretty much strong in early to mid game and as a YZ user myself I'm glad that he's finally getting noticed and no players seems to be using him much often because of the nerfs but here's what I think:
"If a hero has a lot of nerfs that means that he's not usable but you need to adjust your playstyle so you can still use him like a normal hero, it's not the hero that's the problem, it's the player"

Best way to buff/balance heros is that you allowed only a certain heros in tier list to be played in epic like if the match is B tier then you can only use B tier heros like yu zhong

Yu Zhong is still really good in early phase of the game. But once opponents have Dominance Ice, it's hard to effect the game using YZ. Whenever I went up against YZ, I always calculated his jump skill and petrify and just poke YZ around without getting hit. Yu Zhong is really easy to deal with these days. He is in average tier in the current META in my opinion.
He is meta in every tournament. Just not picked every game and can't be played as fearless as back then. But is used often in high level and pro games. So definitely A tier, even A+.

yu zhong is so squishy tbh, but except if you master his passive
YZ when released was a like some sort of godly hero.... 1 V 5 was even possible in the late game if your team needs someone to block the enemies in their way while the mm and jungler are taking the lord..... But after that he got constant nerfs and never made it to the proper meta..... The last buff that he got was +20 base damage of skill 1.... His skill cooldowns got increased.... His range was shortened..... His movement speed reduced..... And more over the most important part, his regen was cut down..... Now a days he's just another damage absorbing tank for your sweet sweet Johny mage build and your real mage..... I really hate the fact that the developers cut down all his highlights for which yz was famous and scary..... Reducing his total hp was a good thing but reducing his hp along with his passive regen is too much Indiscrimination..... Now a days yz is really rare sight to be seen and most of them are not even skilled enough..... I feel really bad as I have been a yz main from the day he was first released..... I understand he was way too broken during that time and needed some nerfs but moonton nerfed him way too much.... As a solo ranker I feel sad sometimes that all I am doing is acting as another tank for all the squishies of my team....

I build him with tank items only even though I'm using him at exp lane. My main target was their mm and/or mage. I atleast need to be accompanied by an assassin to finish the job.

Yu zhong is a great hero,and if you have item advantage in early you can dominate in mid until late game,but the bad thing about him is no matter how well you play you cant win easily in late without a good team/base pusher

Yz right now is little bit on underpower side, the reason why its still at 50% wr, is because most of his user are really2 good at it.. new player would certainly not able to use him.
My match using yu zhong is alternating between bronze n gold, rarely ever silver.. if i invest in wrong build strategies, he is gonna suck really hard. Cus he is particularly squishy in late game n low base damage..

@@KYSNYAN ask Moonton but for total nerf paquito has more than chou(but not hartih) plus paq is op in early game with his short cd, high dmg and spam able skills including the ult paquito's first skill also gives a lot a sheild and 2nd skill not only main dmg sorse plus mobility skill that can be use every 5 - 7 sec and his ult has the most annoying push plus slowed(knockup if red stack aka champ stands)
Forgot to mention if paquito is the jungler he can abuse it more
i think YZ is balanced just like Esmeralda. they're really good at doing damage and tanking, but they're no longer capable to destroy the game just by existing.

Esmeralda isnt balanced, she can be tankier than pure tank and deal decent damage. Her movement speed is a bit over and she can easily spam skills. She needs proper nerfs not like previous nerf moonton did

The developers can make him "balanced" by doing what they did to Paquito (Im not saying Paquito is balanced), basic attack no longer inflicts stacks but the stacks required to trigger the passive is lowered.
I've to disagree on this this only work on paquito because of his low CD skills while most of Yu Zhong skill have high CD unless you go 40% CDR

YZ is strong but, the current him falls quite a bit on late game. I think he needs more scaling on his hp and durability. Or they could also just decrease his CDs because some of it, especially his ult, is excruciatingly long.
Tbh I agree that his ULT'S CD is long bt you also have to count the time you spend as Dragon and beast which is like 10-15 seconds

@@gamalielbontilao3679in the late game, if you maxed the CD reduction (which is 40% at max) then his ultimate will be at 39 sec. So if his max time is 15 seconds, then 39-15 = 24 seconds. Just saying
Yu zhong still needs optimization, he needs more HP or HP growth as he usually jumps into enemy backline thats risky, or they can optimise yu zhong's skill casting (sha animation, skill 1 speed, or skill 3 jump speed) that feel too slow. In addition, cooldown reduction buff is very good for him as he is skill-depended hero while his skills all too long in CD and has bad att speed stat
I want him to get a new skin, he still stays in META since his release date but only got 2 skins comparing to benedetta and paquito who got more skins while they were released months after him. Its unfair for yz users

Personally I think he's balanced. As shown in the video, even tho he was landing hits on multiple enemies and kept getting bunch of Regen from them, he still got melted from Hanabi, and there are some fighters that actually stay longer than in the teamfights and can even target the Hanabi. Definitely balanced hero.
Great Yu Zhong match, Elgin! But I guess there's nothing else to point out except those Petrify misses. I still think Yu Zhong is an OP hero because whenever he's in a team fight, the chances of winning are high. He really can break enemies formation ten times better than Esme, Uranus, and Thamuz while providing all those CCs and sustain. Though he loses hard against Marksmen and CC if he's not careful and *calm in dire situations.* In conclusion, Yu Zhong is a balanced hero.

Aiming his 3rd skill (jump) in a careful way at a terrain can make his jump longer
When in early game against enemy in lane, the more enemy hits with Yu Zhong's 2nd skill, the more passive stacks (Sha Residue) he marks to target/s with his next Basic ATK.
Yeah i usually use it on minions then basic attack the hero for an easy 3stacks

As someone who used to play yz a lot as my only fighter, even after this much nerfs he's still a good fighter and he can still be a beast in the late game

Yu Zhong is overall a balanced hero, he was OP before but with the nerfs he is balanced. Just like Kagura it's not just a "hidden gem" but also a hero who is constantly in the meta and can be good in certain matchups. But the fact that there are other heroes who can cut his heal with very hard cc such as stuns from Eudora and Aurora, anti heal and Suppression from Franco and Kaja. The passive plus spell vamp for Bloodlust Axe has good amounts of heal, but receiving the additional heal from its passive is kinda slow compared to instant heal from Bloodlust in his build or even other sustain heroes that can heal faster such as Thamuz and maybe even Esmeralda.
If they nerf yz my main will destroy plss moonton dont nerf plss

Yu Zhong has been "balanced" for over 6+months he's one of the most honest characters int he game, and he really needs a team to back him up, becasue once anti heal is built he's a joke.
The problem is his skill cooldown are too long
Remember when the cadia of riverlands were too op like ling is Invincible when in wall

I think yz is pretty good. He just needs the right composition and right teammates to do great job. Also dyroth can counter him (based on what ive seen)
I use a build tank and a tank emblem at YZ because hes lifesteal is already pretty usefull at team fights because kt has pretty decent damage and it keeps you alive

In early game it's almost like old argus's ulti which is more then a minute.
Even this guy's knockup blink skill has lower cd then the guy with horse, 14 sec for a short dash.
they simply have to do this: have their passive apply to jungle mounts
im really disappointed at him currently, he used to be super strong super good but it turned a quick 180° when hes not useful and not in meta right now on paper he is the perfect definition of sustain but looking closely he has big flaws first is his effectiveness on late game, hes quite squishy at late game and if built half tank or full tank items he automatically looses 90% damage and keep in mind enemies has built Dominance which has a little bit of physical defense and most famous 50% anti heal, hes dominant at early but not as dominant as he used to.. Literally late game its like cutting a hard rock bread with a dull knife, hes no more than tanker at late game, a weak one at that point its better to use thamuz. One mention for his flaws his passive heal is not that effective as it used to be like a lot of delay on heal also one passive trigger gives like 3-4 points of heal runs out unbelievable fast. His ult cooldown is unusable for straight 70+ seconds after using on lvl 1 ult which is unspammable that leads me to always save my ult in important teamfight instead of using it on 1v1 or running away ALSO is it just me or his base speed is low than average? one more metionable thing, old yu zhong can 1v5 enemy no sweat which is too op but now he even struggles in 1v2 not saying he should be 1v5 every team but just stating the big difference between mid era yu zhong and current yu zhong

Yu Zhong is a great fighter. But pls... Just... Pls... Is it too much to ask:-
i) 5 seconds cooldown for 1st skill
ii) 10 seconds cooldown for 2nd skill
iii) 10 seconds cooldown for 3rd skill
iv) 1 minute cooldown for his Ultimate skill?
What doesn't kill me makes me even stronger
I like to mention that Franco on Elgin's side were a god
I rarely see Yz played because the meta changing fast I think he need a little damage buff is good but he's damage is fine they need to focused on other hero.
The damage is fine, the problem is that he's a bit squishy than other fighters. He needs a bit of an HP buff.
I play him tanky so I don't get destroy by the enemy but my anoying teammates seal most of my kill ahhh.
Yu Zhong need to have One piece collab Skin.

First skill is Ryaimei Hakki.
And Hybrid Form after Ulti.
A buff like make his first skill benefit to 40>60% spell vamp
If I'm playing Yu Zhong I always use a hybrid build, a bit of defence(Depends on the situation) and all is offensive items. He's really a good hero, just use him properly and he'll really dominate his lane.
