- So the new hero Fredrinn is about to make his appearance on August 12 at official server
To give you a preview of what to expect I'll be playing him on experience lane

by watching this video, i can say that valir is one of his biggest counter, hp dmg to counter his tankiness, anti cc to counter his cc, knockback to disrupt fredrin skills and also for social distancing, anyways that doesnt mean that fredrin cant kill him tho
bc valir can push him away and prevent him from finishing fredrinns combos

Valir, Brody, Beatrix and Zhask can poke this hero to oblivion
Best way to counter the Gameplay was to avoid 2nd skill on Initiation of team fights since that will shorten your distance between him and will trigger the Chain combo of his skills
Long Range Heroes( both skill and atk animation) is a nightmare matchup against him
While this hero will strive against lineup consisting mostly of melee heroes
Valir is just the bane if all most fighters
Fredrin needs to back up a little bit far cause he is too close to public people and the COVID-19 is still here 🤣 9
The fact that vengeance, blade armor and Cursed helmet were trigering his passive's heal is kinda scary not gonna lie.
Molten essence is kinda a must 1st item because of this

My only concern is the future nerfs this guy would receive (aside from becoming a priority ban) to a point where he’d be one of those hidden gem heroes.
I don't think he would be a priority ban. He would be probably on the same ban rate as harley or saber, as most regen heroes are easily countered by anti regen and burst heroes like Baxia and Dyrroth.
He's kinda like a complicated balmond and uranus when it comes to his kit, but can be easily bested by ranged mages.
@@youraveragesub ok but you should realize regen isn’t his main component that’s literally just a bonus. The main thing here is he can be quite tanky, heal, and still deal decent damage and high damage with his ult.

Fredrinn is gonna be a great fighter, can soak up dmg and regen dmg while able to deal high dmg even with no atk items. Gonna test him out as soon as he gets released

Even though tank junglers have fallen out of the meta, I feel like Fredrinn would be a great jungler if paired with a utility roam like Rafaela, Mathilda, or Angela.

The most interesting part this is he Doesn't need to Use Mana Or Energy And His 3rd can Reduce the Cooldown of 1st and 2nd Skill. Pretty Op for a Sustain Even Just poking the enemy can Slow Them Pretty Good but Not that Good Because He is Skill Based Hero Not Until someone Use AttackSpeed Crit or Full Dmg Build On Him Just for His Incredible Lifesteal

I think he is well designed as a tank fighter. He has no mana, regen, dash and good chain cc yet counterable by ranged heroes. He seems fun to play and play against. Well done moonton.

His passive is Esme's opposite. He needs damage to regen, Esme deals damage to regen.

Another weakness of Fredrinn is slow effects bcuz he is so slow as F and ultimate delay in so long. So, I often use him with sprint instead of vengeance and it works pretty well.
Yeah.... But he's definitely gonna be a op hero once he is released.
His slow movement and skill are a great way to balance this hero, kinda don't mind it. Because if he gets too op, there will to much nerf given to him later
You can also use flicker for Fredrinn to chase long-range enemies and/or to escape from danger.
You probably say this to every hero lol. Fredrinn doesn't need any flicker he is literally wolverine unless you wanna do a flicker+ult combo.

Fredrinn is what we call a juggernaut. Someone who can soak up damage while still able to deal high damage. He is weak to enemy who can easily kite him. The only thing I feel is gonna be change is how strong his sustain is. But overall he is pretty well design.

[Tough Boots, DHS, BoD, Malefic Roar, Hunter Strike, (any Anti Lifesteal)] /windchant and Haas's Claw (any lifesteal/bloodlust/regen/heal/have stacks items that can make you last longer) optional
Tank/Fighter
[Tough Boots, Dominace Ice, Antique Cuirass, Cursed Helmet, Twilight Armor, Blade Armor] /Oracle or Queen wings if you're hero can benefit from it

It was my idea to use that full tank hero, he already has a lot of damage and a lot of defense, he is a very versatile hero, like Thamuz, I am going to enjoy him a lot when he comes out on the original server, meanwhile I am going to have breakfast finishing watching the God Elgin morning video 💕 full support for you mate

Hopefully he has a spot in meta? Bro, this guy is probably gonna carry the whole meta to a new level. This is literally a perfect example of building tanky items but still can do dmg, not a lot of fighters can do that. I would say that one of the heroes that could counter Fredrinn would be Masha, after using his 2nd skill he does need a basic attack to land his knockup, and since Masha can prevent you from using ur basic attacks, Fredrinn would have no choice to use another skill. Valir can also just push him back to avoid getting knocked up, but as seen in the video, once he gets his ultimate, pushing him back won't matter.
He's just thamuz with a few extra steps

That enhanced ultimate damage is not something to overlook. It's like Hilda's ult but aoe and more deadly
Sure lv 1 to 3 Thamuz will bully him, but lv 4 might be a different case. His only real counter should be Esme
This feels like Gato because his passive works very similar to the way these two heroes are made for.
High dmg when low hp just 1 gives bonus def higher dmg but heal cap
And the other heals while losing hp but high burst in ultimate only
Maybe Gato found a real opponent to show how much sustain one truly is.

The difference is that frederinn is stronger with tanky build, while gatot is stronger with magic build. Magic gatot is squishy
And both have a skill that taunts the enemy.
Gato with tank build also works but with lower dmg

I think he may be good with Dire Hit/as a DH roam tank, however would still build War Axe/Bloodlust or both for insane damage
blade of despair is useful for last hitting squishy heroes cause of BOD passive
The way he walks is already trolling the enemies.
Gigachad fredrinn enters team fights, dishes out cc left and right, soaks up all the damage, might get a kill or two then leaves with full hp.
Better add with Bloodlust Axe for better sustain, together with full defense items. I played him and I got triple kill.
2 months later: fredrinn got a big nerf on his skills.

@@christineallen1763 Frederinn and Hilda are both meant to be extreme lifestealing tanks, but Hilda can't be effective in that role unless she activates her passive by moving into a bush. Frederinn can basically do the same, but he doesn't require the same amount of prerequisites.

I can see people using dyroth and silvanna again since this is like the op masha, however, his 3rd skill (or 1st skill has cc that can disrupt these anti tank heroes you see often to counter fighter/tanks, his ult is also an aoe masha ult if that makes sense. This means the only true counter to him is true damage (rise of x borg mains?) or those annoying marksmen that just hit as fast as the speed of light (moskov inspire) or the marksman with unli dash [a.k.a. (1)² or wanwan (don't forget inspire of course)] or the sacred marksman item. W3ak of nature(since unlike balmond or martis ult that becomes true dmg when enemy low hp, fredrinn doesnt have that).
The Perfect Counter for Fredrinn are Harley and Lunox

There's overpowered, there's broken and there's fredrinn.
fredrinn will surely enter the "always banned club" meta with nana and my hottie head boii thamuz.
After trying him out for quite a bit, I can safely say he’s _somewhat_ balanced if your team is composed of some ranged heroes, but is pretty much hard to deal with if most of ur lineup is melee which lets him be able to connect all of his skills easily. Just know how to position and not get caught by any of his ccs and ur good to poke him from afar. As for melee heroes, try not to always go against him until he misses his skills on u or wait till he has activated his 3rd skill. And lastly, Antiheal is a clear counter to his sustainable passive.
Burst heroes would definitely be fredrinn’s favorite targets cuz it means it’ll give him a lot of the gray hp meaning higher ult dmg to send the burst dmg taken back to them. So maybe dps type heroes that slowly chips away his hp but also slowly his gray hp starts to fade out so lesser dmg for his ult.
It's like , yea almost all fighters have a hard time dealing with ranged heros . Good positioning is a basic tip for any mm or mage so nothing unique to counter fredrin either.

Guardian Helmet is a good item for him so that he can still top off the HP he lost after a clash

Combine that with Cursed Helmet and he'll be unstoppable because Cursed Helmet triggers his passive by dealing damage
