The "exhaust filter" is actually a HEPA filter which removes tiny particles like pollen, dust and bacteria. This is great for people with allergies or simply those who don't want this stuff recycled into their living area. It's a feature usually found on high end vacuums which cost much more than the Shark Rocket Pro. The HEPA filter is easy to clean, and only needs to be rinsed annually.
The roller on my IZ140 26 stopped spinning. It’s clogged with hair for sure but can’t figure out how to take it apart after removing all visible screws. 🤷♂️
Can you connect the top unit piece to the main vacuum head without the shaft in the middle? So you’d have like a shortened version of the full vacuum unit for things like stairs?
Yes, yes you can. And it works very good for stairs. 👍 So glad to help! Thank you for watching. Check out hundreds more of our videos at www.aroundthehome.org
You know, you are right. I should have put that in there. I do have that in the unboxing / setup video though which there is a link to that inside this video. Also here is that link. ua-cam.com/video/gw5afS1gj4Q/v-deo.html
To get the best battery longevity, drain it down to like 30% to 20% before charging. Not all the way down. And don't leave the battery on the charger after it it done. 👍 So glad to help! Thank you for watching. Check out hundreds more of our videos at www.aroundthehome.org
Great video... thanks. I have the non-bendy (magenta) version (IZ162HC). It has a removable battery, something which you don't mention -- so I assume this feature is not available on your test model. I bought a second battery and charger so I can extend my vacuum jobs to over 40 minutes by simply swapping batteries when the first one dies. Very handy. If I have to choose, I think I'd prefer the battery swap feature over the bendy tube, though I'd really like both.
Thanks for watching and your comment. You are correct in assuming that mine does not have a removable battery. That is a nice feature so that you can have a second one charged and ready to go. Check out hundreds more of our videos at www.aroundthehome.org
Not only would the LEDs be cool, but helpful! My main issue with this product is the cat hair gets clogged up in the head! Other than that, I like the machine.
Huh, I do have one cat, but you probably have more. Thanks for the input. Thank you for watching. Check out hundreds more of our videos at www.aroundthehome.org
Yes I do and so does my daughter whom I gave it to. She uses it as her main vacuum and uses the tar out of it. With a dog, two cats, and her son she uses it a lot.
And here is a pretty good deal on some refurbished units. www.amazon.com/Shark-Lightweight-Self-Cleaning-Brushroll-IZ140/dp/B08S5V5ZLB?keywords=shark+rocket+pro&qid=1657374775&sr=8-3&linkCode=ll1&tag=greatwhitenin-20&linkId=f3b08c2944dff1f91ea54daa4da4a326&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
Here is my video on that. ua-cam.com/video/xqrbib_pLWE/v-deo.html That basic answer is yes, but the manufacturer recommends against using soap. Now they do that because there are a lot of soaps out there that are not good. I use only real dawn. And not the ultra with lotion and other things. You don't want any residue left on the filters because that will just make them clog. Thanks for watching. Check out our website with all our videos. www.aroundthehome.org/

Thanks, they do ok.
Just bought the rocket pro and my handle doesn’t bend like that 🤷♂️
They have a plain Rocket Pro and the one with the MultiFlex. This is the MultiFlex and I have an Amazon link in the video description.
Its actually cheaper at walmart right now for 199 for the multiplex!!
Wish you would have shown how the battery charger works and size.

Should the battery be emptied before charging or can it be plugged in after each use..does it matter as far as battery longevity
