Another hidden but wholely enjoyable horror/science fiction picture from that period Is the hidden, miracle mile (MM is truly brilliant and frightening picture)
Great movie.
Not seen this in years!! Would love to give it a rewatch sometime soon. Well covered here, Jim. You’ve done the film much justice with your great commentary as always, my friend 👍
One of John Schlesingers forgotten movies largely derided as him slumming it. Terrific movie with great cast. I always find Harris yulin creepy and he is in this. Richard masur another Hollywood actor who plays sheens friend is like yulin a Hollywood regular and well used here (like his spot on the thing).
Great that you review this neglected work
It's a very solid film I think and yeah I agree the cast is full of underrated actors, im shocked no one talks about it
@@JimTheMovieGeek as Freddy had dominance in eighties it not really surprising. The sender, serpent and the rainbow, dreamscape all kinda lost or neglected In instantly at time
Have to watch this. Looks brilliant. Good review.
Definitely a bucket list film mate!
