1) Imperial units.
2) Flower should NOT be measured by volume. Because it can settle, volume can vary wildly. Measuring by mass is much more consistent. So, if you must use Imperial units, use ounces (not fluid ounces).

And if you were using the standard SI in this, at 180 Kelvin you'll be turning that cake into ice (0 K = -273 °C or -459 °F, which means that 180 K is -93 °C or -135 °F )
She didn't even buy the ingredients without being remedid to, and didn't know that she needed an apron on a cooking show! Which I assume should be pretty obvious... I wouldn't get to worked up about it.

But again, about the units of measure, she should probably know that the SI uses Kelvin, not Celsius (it's not a hard conversion either, just add 273 to the temperature in Celsius). The show is science based afterall :P

The point of the SI system is to have a coherent unit system. This does not mean that you'll be only using base SI units all the time. Just as different fields will have their own standard units when it comes to calculations (common example being mass in physics is typically measured in kilograms, while grams are used in chemistry). Celsius is also just more useful when presenting graphs that deal with standard temperatures.
Dr doe, your chemistry quiz single handedly saved my exam. I would have had no idea what the Rutherford or Bohr models looked like.
