My friend has more than 150 acres of land in TN. They purchase gold and diamonds just like normal people purchase biscuits. Yet they go tax free, free water, free electricity ....

The farmers didn’t sell their land it was taken away from them. They want what the government promised and as always the government goes back on their word. What’s the point of making India look like it is rising but when in reality Indians are suffering with unemployment and farmers are dying.

There was a life before farmers, there will be life after farmers.. It's called subsistence, a group of people or a society who grows just enough food to sustain themselves, if they stop producing tomorrow, it will hurt for few days, but then the people will pivot and realize it's not too difficult to grow ur own food, we will get better quality food and get healthier.
There was a life before the government and there will be a life after the government.. I don't know the future but I can tell you that without the government , India was divided ,run by oligarchs and monarchs who were constantly in conflict with each other, The average life expectancy was 30 years and we kept getting colonized and raided by people from different parts of the world.. It took us about one millennia to come out of that hot mess and build the country thanks to the visionary leaders like Nehru, Shstri, Indira, Rajeev, Narsimha Rao and Manmohan Singh.
Between farmers and the government it is a fairly easy to choose a side if you apply a little common sense.
