I just slapped 3x sets of Chalnath together to make part of a hive city. Might use this for that part of the build. Thanks for taking the time to make this.
Very cool. I got my set put together yesterday finnaly. I'm glad I watched this before I attempted to paint the terrain. I used all my agrax/nuln oil on my galvanic magnavent real fast and was kinda screwed till my store opened the next day once. Going to stock up this time lol. Was alot more terrain then I expected. It's pretty impressive.
My local GW store did all their terrain with mostly rattle cans, airbrushed on the washes and a little drybrushing and detail work. Took them next to no time and looks bloody amazing. Gotta point out that hobby store staff are usually pretty good on tips for fast ways of doing things.
I painted the full kill team box up to this standard last year. I ordered that rampart kick starter and added all kinds of crap and dropped over 200$...it's supposed to ship at the end of the month and I'm thinking to myself. What have I done 🤣

fantastic tutorial. However for me i use Agrax Earthshade for the outer wall and Nulin oil on just the metallics
Idea:
Around the fans that are destroyed, maybe add a burn mark as if struck by excessive heat or melta weaponry.
