That's a very good list! My List: 1. Scarecrow 2. Joker 3. Bane 4. Penguin 5. Riddler 6. Mr. Freeze 7. Two-Face 8. Ras Al Ghul 9. Court of Owls 10. Hugo Strange
What I like about Joker is his versatility. He can be a saturday morning cartoon villain, a vandalizing prankster, a psychotic serial killer, a terrorist agent of chaos, or just a greedy mobster with a clown shtick. Just like how Batman can be grim and gritty, or goofy and campy or anywhere in-between Joker can be molded to fit him as his rival
Nice list! This here is my list: 10. The Joker (and yes ik that it's a hot take 😂) 9. The Riddler 8. Killer Crock 7. Man bat 6. Mr freee 5. Firefly 4. Owlman 3. Two Face 2. Scarecrow 1. Bane P.S. Can't wait for Saturday! 👀🔥

I recently discovered your channel. I like your videos and just had an idea for a concept you could explore. Batman and Superman are often treated as a duo by DC, partly due to them being DC's most popular heroes, and partly to them contrasting against each other really well. As a result, Lex Luthor and the Joker are also treated as a duo among DC villains (though to a lesser extent) due to them being the most known enemies of Batman and Superman. I think it would be an interesting video to talk about other pairings of one Batman villain and one Superman villain that you think would (or already have) make a good duo. Some examples I thought of are... Toyman and Riddler: Two highly intelligent criminals who are very playful in how they confront their hero. Brainiac and Ra's Al Ghul: They both represent a duality between destruction and preservation. Brainiac destroys entire planets in a corrupted attempt to preserve knowledge about them. Ra's destroys civilizations to preserve the environment. It could also be a plot point where Brainiac lies to Ra's about his motives, and Ra's joins the heroes once he realizes Braniac wants to destroy the planet. Toyman and Clayface: A man made of clay is basically a giant toy, and Toyman would love researching his anatomy and finding ways to modify him. Mr. M and Two Face: Mr. M would be fascinated by Two Face's insistence on making decisions based on random chance. I can see a storyline where Mr. M enchants Two Face's coins so that they no longer just decide his actions, but also decide the actions of people around him, natural events, and even the laws of physics.
Top 5 Batman villains 1. Joker (Most original, insanity vs. logic is the perfect combination) 2. Scarecrow (Deep connection to the character Batman because of fear which effects Bruce Wayne) 3. Bane ( Excellent tactician gives Batman a physical challenge for a man with no powers) 4. Mr. Freeze (As a character, tragic) 5. Ra's AL Ghul (Trained Bruce Wayne, knows him on a personal level) My list does mostly account for the idea of the character and not only stories. Edit: Man, Twoface is such a solid character. It was really hard for me to exclude him from the top 5, but he is most certainly in the top 10. (again mostly on idea)
My list probably would be 1.Riddler(I always like how he was an intellectual threat to batman and I think he have a lot of potential to be a bigger threat) 2. Two-face( My second favorite batman villain and second most sympathetic behind Mr.Freeze, his stories can be very dramatic with his fight between good and evil) 3. Scarecrow(a pure evil son of a bitch, I think the idea of fear toxin is interesting and I think writers should focus a lot more on his ability to psychoanalyze people and his mastery of chemistry. 4Joker(personally think he overrated a lot but I still like him and he is one of batman greatest enemies) 5. Penguin(I always thought of penguin as batman lex Luthor an intellectual villain with a stupid amount of resources to throw at him) 6. Clayface,Basil Karlo( I always liked the idea of a actor getting shapeshifting clay powers, I prefer Clayface as a more villainous character but he works as a sympathetic one as well) 7. Poison Ivy( I think she is own of Batman most powerful villains and you can make her sympathetic or villainous either work. 8.Mr.Freeze(Very sympathetic and I like his backstory a lot but he's kinda of a pain to write stories about besides just retelling heart of Ice) 9.Bane( Also think he overrated a lot but I still like him a lot as sort of a batman doomsday but more interesting than doomsday) 10. Mad Hatter(I think he very underrated and his abilities to mind controlled arent taken advantage of enough in the comics.
I agree with the Penguin as he has a lot of potential as I always think that Batman and Penguin should be like Eliot Ness and Al Capone from the Untouchables as well as Scrooge McDuck and Flimheart Glomgold and of course Daredevil and the Kingpin
Scarecrow has for the most part sadly been a joke character. If Joker wasn't around Scarecrow is Batman arch-nemesis without a second thought. Bane is super debatable.
My list would be: 1. Joker 2. Scarecrow 3. Mad Hatter 4. Proffessor Pyg 5. Deadshot 6. Mr. Freeze 7. Don Falcone 8. Hush 9. Two-face 10. Riddler I don't think there is a Batman villian that doesn't deserve to be mentioned in this video. If i have to continue 11. Penguin 12. Deathstroke 13. Court of Owls 14. Ventrioquist 15. Ra's Al Ghul 16. Hugo Strange 17. Poison Ivy 18. Bane 19. Clayface 20. Firefly 21. Killer Croc 22. Man-Bat 23. Solomon Grundy 24. Blackmask But here is a thing, even the last man on the list is marvelous
My top 10: 10. Anarky 9. Victor Zsasz 8. Ventriloquist 7. Poison Ivy 6. Clayface 5. Penguin 4. Joker 3. Riddler 2. Two-Face 1. Scarecrow Top 5 is set in stone, but 6-10 is always hard to make. I can’t believe Mr. freeze and Mad Hatter didn’t make it this time.
The Batman Who Laughs, I like it, but I don't like the design because it is too skinny and lengthy, when Batman is muscular and physically imposing, I feel like Batman Who Laughs should have just been Batman with white skin and insanity, he looks like a Joker in a black stray jacket with bat costumes and spikey biker things from the costume store.
Weird that batman who laughs is just the bad ending to the arkham games cuz he get infected with joker blood and then turn into the joker from time to time and even nearly lost himself that one time

Interesting, that does make sense. I'm not sure but perhaps the toxin Bruce breathed in altered his body into becoming "Joker-like".
