Rachel has a great voice. LSD does a really good acoustic version of The Kinks' Lola, and Rachel's version of Can't Find My Way Home is one of my favorites.
I didn't know if you would appreciate the "book" I wrote or not lol. But seriously I didn't know if you would like this at all style-wise, but I sure loved it. There is a live version of this song, which is amazing, of course, but I just liked the way they mixed this studio version because it was interesting to me, and I wanted to hear what you said about it. I thought you might hate the ending because it ended abruptly like that, but you never know what other people will think. I absolutely love the upright bass chick on this. She is my favorite. Lake Street Dive sing the theme song for the Netflix food travel show Somebody Feed Phil. It's great. Phil was the creator of Everybody Loves Raymond and now he travels around the world meeting people and eating great food.
OH. MY. GOSH!!!!! We had no idea, and used to watch "Somebody Feed Phil" often!!! Now we have to go back and watch to hear the theme song. THANK YOU for this info, love these kinds of tidbits!!! ❤️🥷🏻
Runrig is a band I wish more Americans knew about. They're from Scotland. Highly recommend checking them out. Songs like News From Heaven, Skye, Rocket To The Moon. Donnie Munro has one of the best voices for ballads. Tons of concert footage from them in the 80s and 90s.
