A long time ago I broke the hop up arm of my very first airsoft gun which had a hopup by cleaning it without setting the hopup to 0. Though it was a cheap AGM L96 with weak internals and I was a noob so it was a recipe for disaster.
I really want to get into gbbr but I don't really know what to look for and what are good companies and that sort of things but I find the videos really interesting.
Is isopropanol the most careful for our hop-up rubbers? Is there any other cleaning liquid that better respects the rubber material? Just curious, since I always cleaned with cleaning alcohol too. Thanks and good bb's!
@@Instinct3000x If you go and watch negative airsofts video you will see that he only does the comparisons of a silicone soaked and alcohol soaked bucking and the alcohol soaked one lost sooo much fps. Probably due to it drying out. So no. He did not "debunk" it.
Hey there, what precise inner barrel (brand and length) would You recommend for 10" WE KAC PDW (w/o suppressor, just standard barrel and muzzle-device)? MAPLE LEAF CRAZY JET 290? Or rather shorter one, or something different? The gun has a RA-T NPAS inside allready Thanx for a response, have a great day
Question: can you make a video on how to modify the hop up unit on this gun or does anybody know a video that can help? I plan to replace the bucking with the ML auto bot 60 as Josef recommends, as well as the nub with some silicone isolation
I do the same method shown, but after it's clean I do one last pass with a single drop of thick silicon oil. Tbh I also do not like to have the barrel bone dry as well, since bbs do hit the inner barrel eventually.

both the replicas I bought recently did not come with one of these and they seem to be very rare now lol
Isn’t alcol going to ruin the bucking, since it’s made of rubber?
Make sure to turn the hop up all the way off or even better take the barrel and hop unit apart and clean the barrel by itself.
I did try to soke the rubber in alcohol and it didnt do anything to it… not sure about long exposure to alcohol

I am worried that the rubbing alcohol will dry out my bucking has anyone had any issues caused by this?
