0.40g for the length of barrel and power. I like your channel and you are smart but that's a stupid explanation. I know high power is better but that gun is very limited on what it can do no matter the upgrades. Personally in my opinion so you can disagree that's a cqb weapon so 0.25g max and not shooting that far so it doesn't matter for the power that much.

I love upgrading guns. A good barrel with consistent bore and hop up goes a long way regardless of the platform. Upgrading a GBB to run on HPA and take AEG mags is game changing. Changing magazine valves and gas transfer seals can improve power and consistency on GBB/GBBR platforms. There are definitely shitty upgrades, I guess it depends on what you buy. This seems more like a rant because he got a shittily made "upgrade" part, and isn't indicative of GBB upgrades as a whole.

  • @fezzingtons

I think you need to change how you view things. Personally, I don't think of these as upgrade parts, I think of them as aftermarket parts and a big part of the journey of upgrading any GBB gun is that you try many combinations of aftermarket parts to try and push the platform to its limits (within your local rules). That said, there's a reason my TM MWS internally is left stock other than barrel and bucking - i think its a good idea to have one gbbr that you can rely on, while tinkering with the others :P

i 100 percent agree. At least on gas guns. I spent maybe 100 euros on my ssp1 and it shoots pretty much the same as stock. However in aegs upgrades are usually worth it. I have had a few upgraded aegs and they shot way better and lasted longer than when they were stock.

The only thing about my WE PDW I really want to upgrade would be the trigger box once the standard soft internals have worn out. I heard RA-Tech is the way to go.
Otherwise I’d only want to "upgrade" my PDW back to stock, when I’m outside of Germany. Btw, can I buy WE gearbox parts separately like the auto sear, for example? Or do I have to buy a whole trigger box?

Well, I can't say about gas guns, but for aeg or spring, upgrades are awesome, some are unnecessary, but some are pretty damn cool. As a airsoft tech, I'm surprised and saddened that airsoft companies do such a poor job at assembling their guns. Shimming and aoe are most of the time very crappy, even in high end guns. And worst thing people tolerate that shit. Like you wouldn't do that with phones or whatever

    • @ValaskaErgonomic
      @ValaskaErgonomic 3 роки тому +2

Gas comes upgrades are good as well. Rather they should be called aftermarket because even an AEG you're going to know how to install the part and diagnose if there's some sort of timing issue or perhaps your motor isn't strong enough.
Joshua here has no idea how to tack on guns they made a full auto Glock with a pot metal disconnector and it's already starting to bust on players just months after being released. So not rich is one of the biggest culprits in putting bad parts into guns and selling basically stockguns working in ways that they're not intended to and obviously breaking down faster they're also assembled bad so I don't think he knows how to put guns together or tech them.
He's so ignorant about basic premises of how the aftermarket works are you putting a car together by yourself do you know how to change an intercooler kit on your own for a turbo? The vast majority of people that do that do not and have to take it to a mechanic. So even in computers where it's much easier to upgrade something you need to know how to diagnose or know if there's a compatibility issue if it's going to fit with your RAM or a myriad of other things that could go wrong.
And when you're replacing things in a mechanical system like a gas blowback rifle or an AG's gears piston cylinder head you're going to need to know how to fix something if it goes wrong.
Unfortunately he doesn't know how to do it so he's coming here to complain for 8 minutes about something where he's just ignorant.

But yeah him saying that parts should just fit drop in I mean in a deal world sure but the companies that are making these are having such loose tolerances that when another company that better understands the system makes a better tolerance part... It is very simple, if it does not work out of the box very well (do not accept: 'it works ok, maybe it's better upgraded').
it is not worth the time or effort, each new part you introduce only increases the amount of problems and time consumption of a non fieldable gbb, or even worse, you think its working and then there is a complete failure in the field.

ok...i got some experience on this and i think there are few points worth to mention...
    1. upgrades for GBBs means mostly durability not performance...
initial performance is already good and their goal is to replicate lethal guns, not to achieve fancy miserable performances possible only in airoft anyway...like over 1000 ROF on a regular gun...
    2. since gas is not some exact science...you need to know what you're doing anyway...or just let it stock
    3. if you buy GBBs you most likely want realism not performance...so better focus on reliability and feeling
    4. most manufacturers offer disgusting quality (internal atleast) so you NEED to "upgrade" them to steel parts sooner or later...AND are also way overpriced for what they can offer (especially WE Tech) soo...yeh...know your market, buy second-hand if you can...then upgrade with FINALLY relable parts...-,-
    5. i think i figured out a way to use compressed air instead of Gas/CO2...so...save costs ! But i definitely need to test it way more...but it's possible!
    6. the only real upgrades for GBBs which can really increase performance a bit are : Barrel and HopUp. (adjustable NPas is a nice thing...and i still can't understand why they don't manufacture this as stock...anyway.."besides wanting you to buy more stuff"...)
all in all...unfortunately..."upgrades = just reliability" more and more...not performance...

Since I'm here early, the issue with your P90 is probably the floating valve ;)

This is completely bunk and write ng. The guns are not "fine tuned" at the factory, they are putting in parts that take the minimum about of machining and material to make the most profit. The factory cannot afford to make parts out of 6061 etc
Upgrades are almost invariable better, but you need to know what they are and how to diagnose issues but invariable they improve the gun.
He is complaining about a low flow nozzle... And he doesn't even understand how the flute valve spring works. He THINKS he knows how it works, but he doesn't. That's the real issue, people who think they know how this stuff work.
Like how he thinks his auto Glock with a pot metal disconnector won't get ruined. Surprise, the Nov Glocks are already busting. Or how the SsG10 came out of his shop with assembly issues leading to ruined cylinders and improperly installed trigger boxes.
This man doesn't know how to install aftermarket parts OR to tune them. Of course it requires some knowledge, have you ever changed your trigger or chamber out on a real firearm? How about your engine in a car or a cooler kit? Same shit is here, you are changing parts out on mechanical system.
Poseidon's parts work amazingly and they know how these systems work better than you ever will. This is YOU know understanding how they work or to diagnose issues.

@@ValaskaErgonomic really??? are you gonna defend Poseidon, the company that sells piston heads made of teflon *backup rings* instead of, you know, anything that provides an actual seal????? the ones that sell valve shims to *prevent the valve locker from engaging* and market it as as a miracle for cooldown resistance???
All they know of is marketing. And you have 110% fallen for it.

    • @ValaskaErgonomic

@@facundocorradini Yes I am going to defend poseidon, delrin rings work fine as long as you put them into the right nozzle size. I can take a video of my WE P226 and show you it working fine if you want. Or the HiCapa I have one in, or the TM PX4, or an HK3P PX4, etc. The head and delrin spacers work perfectly fine so long as you have them in the right gun.
The "valve shims" I'm assuming you mean the bullet valve shims? Turbo valve shims? Yeah they work perfectly fine too, they release less gas... it's a pretty simple concept and it actually helps cold-weather performance. With less released each punch means less liquid manages to get out, which... you should already be following, which means less cooldown. It's not a massive change but it will help with cool down. Can it interfere with your valve locker being able to fully engage? Theoretically. Have I ever seen that issue happen? No not when they are installed correctly.
      ua-cam.com/video/wdaPgV5AqZ4/v-deo.html
      Are they worth it at the end of the day? Only if you want some extra efficiency and are really worried about dumping too much raw liquid on a cold day. The effects aren't out of the world but it does do what they say;

@@JosefMucha100 Because you're wrong. So yeah, I'm here to inform people you are regularly wrong, Josef. You run a pre-upgrade shop that puts out shoddy guns that break in the hands of people at a markup. With nothing but stock parts and a few tiny bits replaced. So not only are you a hypocrite, but you're selling products you don't believe in? Because I know for a fact you make NONE OF THE PARTS you put into your guns. You don't make that trigger unit for the JG BAR 10, you don't make your TDC's either. You do not make the STI MK23 or the Hadron TDC, etc.
Those are "upgrade parts." So are they only good when they are poorly assembled and barely function by Novrtisch brand? Or are they bad even then?

Title should say "why I hate downgrades". Upgrades by definition are good. Example: replacing stock rubber with one that can lift the BBs you want to use, stock crap barrel with a high end one...etc.
    Click bait I guess, surprise.

holy shit there is sooo much wrong with this video, upgrades can be really good for your replicas they are not bad at all, now stock guns can be good don't get me wrong, perosnally i would recomend you run your replicas stock until they brake and only then upgrade them, what is going on in this video is that Josef gets a free bolt (most likely a cqb bolt idk as he never named it) now he said he disliked it because it only gives him 0.8j with .40g bbs which idk why he is? it's an mp7 i don't use them in my full sized ak12 i personally think that .40 are way to much for that type of gun .28 or .30s should be good enough for that type of gun, with .28 he should be getting at least over 1j, now he said that he gets 1.8 to 2j on his stock replica which again i think is too much for that type of gun, at least the rules where i am is that automatic replicas are limited to 1.5j, now he is complaing that his small pdw that he put a bolt with a weaker valve spring is giving him 0.8j and not being able to hop .40g bbs (again too heavy for that type of gun) he says that you shouldn't buy upgrades for your guns even tho he works for a company that sells you replicas which selling point is that they are pre upgraded, so why not just run a cyma vsr10 then josef??? it's like a 90e replica why buy the novritch one for over 300e, his point is that it's complicated to upgrade your replicas, and yes it can be and that's why if you don't want to be bothered with that just take it to a tech, pay them 20-30e or how much they charge and they will make your replica work, because they have experiance with that sorta stuff, upgrades work but you have to know what you are doing you can't put a random bolt in your mp7 that you got for free and don't even know what it is and then be suprised when it shoots lower then your stock replica, you need to know which parts are compatible with others, and there is a lot to lean as an airsoft tech so don't post videos like this when you don't know what you are talking about please

stock guns are china crap internals. Aftermarket upgrades are a little less shitty china crap. But if done correctly it will out last and outperform stock guns. Cast pot metal vs steel common dude which is better?. ABS plastic or aluminum which is going to last.
