Yo, for those asking, the answer is yes -- me, Mango, and Vish coordinated this series of videos with c0rnflake who is one of the greatest editors of all time
What a series. What an era. You will be missed summit
I literally grew up watching the Summit series, beginning at the very beginning of 2017 at the age of 12 seeing Armada winning the fourth Melee Summit I think and ending with Acola winning the Smash Ultimate Summit 6 at the age of 17. This tournament series introduced me to competitive video games and gave me this passion about encouraging players I love that I still have to this day. Thanks to Beyond The Summit, huge thanks to them for allowing such incredible events to happen, with even more hype as the tournament series went on both on Melee and Ultimate.

Listening to your commentary for 3+ years now and i'm just thankful for every moment you, Scar, Waffles, Lovage, Walt & Co. have enhanced in the game's lifespan.
That 4 man couch commentary at Summit 11 coupled with the sets was the highest adrenaline fuel i have ever had to endure but also every other Summit before and after had this relaxing vibe as if every tourney just worked to another Summit for the community.
Can't speak for everyone but in my eyes this series was the summit of smash.

Summit 11 grands is to this day my favorite set of smash I’ve ever watched
I think i forgot how powerful axe has played at some of those middle-late summits. Those game 5 last stock performances against zain are unreal performances for pikachu.
This video shows why this game will stand the testament of time. Everytime a player hits a peak, someone else comes along and says watch me cook.

So did anyone check wiz’ setup? (Regarding the clip at 20:20 ) I know it’s not a huge problem either way but I have been wondering about this regarding speed running games and to what level custom controller remapping software becomes cheating. I suppose it is up to each individual communities to set standards, but does that really invalidate the top player if they don’t use it or don’t come clean they use it?
iirc it happened due to Wizzy's sdi and wasn't related to anything on n0ne's end. Wizzy plays smash 64, which requires insane sdi, and there have been several moments online and in person where he's performed similar actions. His sdi was so strong that he moved the opposite direction first after the knee hit. I could be wrong, but I believe they explained it later in that broadcast.

@@caffeinecolds how could wizzy Sdi allow none to land a knee on stage ledge like that, wouldn’t it have to be nones sdi in that case?
If you’re wondering how n0ne managed to land a knee from his position, then the explanation is pretty simple: he dropped from ledge then immediately jumped and inputted a knee. It’s a pretty standard punish I believe. Also, n0ne would not have any sdi since he was not getting hit. The commentators are freaking out bc Wizzy appeared behind n0ne for a second after the knee hits, which is due to Wizzy making an insane amount of sdi inputs in that direction.
