Hey man! I got a gig this weekend and this video is going to help me so much. Also, I love how authentic you are. I’m working on honing my lighting skills too.
Man, that’s some incredible praise. Lighting is much more simple if you understand the concepts. Leaning into natural light and supplementing the light that is already there is really effective and cost efficient. Best of luck on your gig! You’ll kill it. Just don’t overthink it and allow yourself to enjoy the journey.
Even a modern APSC can work for these kind of jobs, what’s more important is the skill of the person like you said, lighting, etc. I’ve seen people make better videos with phones than I can with my full frame camera lol. The edit holds a lot of weight too!
Thanks for the video, just a suggestion the audio level on the music is way too loud compared to your dialouge between sections, so I have to keep my finger on mute to avoid getting a blast of loud music.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll definitely keep that in mind for the next video.
Very helpful thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Hey, great insights into the process. Im wondering what frame rate you used to film ?
60fps!
@@charlestcrepps Thanks pal. Im in the UK , got my first restaurant videography gig tomorrow. 👍
@@madmick19811 Well done bro. Give it your all and don't be afraid to be creative. Just enjoy it.
Not sure if by design or neglegance.. but every time you show b-roll I have to lower the volume or my neighbors think I'm partying at midnight.
Shouldn’t be the case. I don’t think anyone else has had that issue.
