Saint Brigid was a very fine woman, a great woman, a wise and very kind woman, a holy woman. She has been a strong guiding light for the people of Ireland for almost 1600 years, some years ago a friend brought my brothers and I on a day touring different places, one of those places was the town of Downpatrick, Down Cathedral, the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity, I was told that Saint Patrick, Saint Bridgid and Sain Kevin were all buried here, I may have misunderstood but I believe all 3 saints were buried in the same grave. From next year 1st February, Saint Bridgid will become a national holiday, this is long overdue
