I spent my summer's here when I was young on 68 acres. The local Walmart had the absolute best sweet popcorn I've ever had. It was a great little place, no crime I'd ride the lawnmower and go karts exploring the property. We had a little shed house I used as a playhouse. This was the 90's I've never really seen this side of the city. They had a little restaurant that had the absolute best hot ham and cheese sandwiches for $1.25
If you go on google maps and do a streetside view, it soes not look any near as bad as this guy portrays the town. He is only showing a small part of this town. There is some nice new housing on Bayou Oaks Dr. See for yourself.
Is it irresponsible of the very successful rap and hip hop artists to make everyone think they can make millions? Or is the the same as any other wealthy person making everyone think they will achieve that and…..that it is will make you happy? Cannot imagine coming from this kind of environment to something like Cardi B or these other successful artists. How could you even manage that emotionally let alone financially? Are there kids that dream of doing something else or is that even on the radar at all? Do any parents encourage their kids to achieve or is the soul so stifled that the only creativity comes from the music? Feels very interrelated and intertwined in the culture.
Front street,, nolan and st Elizabeth were the most money making streets in donaldsonville for 20 years until the police shut them down it was like the wire tv show.
Doesn't look any different than the white southern Hood. It's hot in the south and a lot of folks can't afford a air conditioners and couldn't afford the electric bill if they had one.
@@claybornethomas6537 I sympathize with you that you live in such a depressing place🤨 you have similar chicken coops all over the country that are being blown to pieces😑
out of curiosity, why do you think politicians "care" about illegal immigrants? what money is being funneled to them by politicians that are not being used towards small towns? I agree that politicians don't care, I just find it odd that you're pointing towards illegal immigration. politicians may actively care LESS about illegal immigration, but that's just because corporations desire that as a cheap labor source, and the jobs they're taking are extremely difficult with very little under the table compensation. so i guess i'm just curious - what millions or billions are being funneled into the hands of illegal immigrants as opposed to these people?
It may be a poor area but it's pretty much clean, no garbage or trash for the most part. These folks do what they can.
So the American dream has come true?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well said. 👍
I agree...

That's crazy.....Where the hell is this?. Never heard of it. It has to be below the 6 line.
Glad you made it out da vill is not sweet at all
Donaldsonville/Abbeville/crowley are rough
I went there, I got kicked off the property of their Ammonia plant, the largest in America, after they told me I could have a tour the day before.
Dude, you really need to invest in a 4K camera fr. Videos look kinda dull.
Rainy day in Louisiana
Feels modern and different
How is it modern
I thank God that they aren’t homeless and they have a roof over their heads and one step ahead of the game. Area is pretty clean. I’ve seen worst. 😢
Louisiana used to be apart of florida until it broke off
Front street,, nolan and st Elizabeth were the most money making streets in donaldsonville for 20 years until the police shut them down it was like the wire tv show.

Donaldsonville, a town between B.R. & N.O. bka Chemical Alley, aka Cancer Alley
Look like Texas
First of all we is not the dirtiest city in Louisiana the house are either abandoned and not being taken care of or it’s a old house
I guess this would be one of those great trailer-park states.
Чем живёт этот богом забытый городишко?

Louisiana ain't been relevant since Hatchet 3 🤣
Chicago ain't been relevant since Home Alone 😄
@Al_Borland Michigan ain't been relevant since Motown 🤣
I seen worse I lived there
That is disturbing! Almost like a curse^^
Americans, how can you build such chicken coops in a country where tornadoes are constantly occurring??😵💫🧐😰
Umm I live about 20 mins from this city and assure you that tornadoes are literally the rarest things that'll happen here

No tornado in Donaldsonville LA that much

You’re probably thinking of hurricanes, not tornadoes, but i don’t know if this area even gets hit by hurricanes. New Orleans probably has it worse.
These small towns could be much better if politicians cared. Hence, the money going to illegal immigrants.
