Pesky xenos are right after all, though no one will agree And hang on, old humanity got in contact with the Eldari Empire before their fall no? Knowing us we 100% waged a war/conflict against them at some point
Weaponized Cannons that shoot Shovels in Ungodly speed, beyond even light and reality. Because one of the Pre-Men of Iron Scientist thought it'd be funny to shoot people from light-years away with a weaponized shovel.
Got to wonder how old humanity(before the Imperium) acted? Their government, how their economy worked, if these old weapons were common or prototypes or military secrets, their main language and what about Earth's religions? Were they still a thing in those times?
There are a couple we could add. The various technologies for ressurection that make up the Keys of Hel kept by the Iron Hands, the Castigator class Titan, and the infovore that ate part of a planet's reality where Olanius Pious got stuck during his journey to Terra.
Omg the difference in technology between the dark age and 40k is insane it's incomprehensible the gap between men who where on the brink of godhood to men who are barely above us. is just wild. I fucking love the idea of like a battle between the dark age empire vs the emperor's decayed empire. Dude the level of carnage would be insane or maybe they'd just take over everything maybe their overcome by barbaric tactics I want to see it or read it anybody got anything on that?
Matt Ward? Forget him, use retcon gun on Andy Jassy or whoever in Amazon that decided that female custodes was a good idea. That's who you should be aiming retcon gun at
This was a lot of fun! Wonder if you might consider a simular, though likely shorter, vid on psyker, and null-based tech? Stuff that can show up the squishy matter, to allow even more warp energy to "flow" through someone, or literally weaponize one's lack of a soul, are cool! I guess since Culexus Assassins are so rarely needed for lore; important enemy characters rarely die, and even Culexus can't usually kill BIG enemy sorcerers, I like to get to hear about their weird tech, like space-bending suits, grenades made of Golden Throne waste products, and a suppression/amplification helm that reaches out with literally nothing, and then kills with it.😊
3:06 This weapon is almost identical in concept to a weapon in Doctor Who called the De-mat, short for dematerializer, though that name ludicrously undersells the impact it has. It pretty much completely removes a target from bothe reality and the timestream, so it is if it mever existed to begin with, though beings that have a powerful-enough temporal sense like the Time Lords can tell if something has been erased by it. Those who do kot have such abilities will never remember the target ever being a thing. I'm not sure of the ontological gun in 40K was inspired by that, hut I thought it warrants mention.
Well done on another great video. I thought that humanity had FTL before the warp, confined to a dozen or so light years at a time, like how the Tau do it?
I wonder if the emperor is aware one of the moi are still out there and has plans against the emperor and the mechanics he claims to have met the omnisiah so I'm curious is it vashtor
You found a lot of gems in there, but you didn't mention a single one from the pen-and-paper versions of the game. Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Deathwatch all have archeotech revealed in either combat scenarios or background endeavors that are clearly dark age of technology origin. Examples I can think of off the top of my head are the Silver Ship, a scenario listed in Rogue Trader that describes a ship from the dark age of technology that periodically emerges from the warp to tempt Rogue Traders, but it is infested with Enslavers and their puppets and has no gellar field (the challenge is to fight enslavers and steal archeotech before it once again sinks into the immaterium). Another would be the XED1.11178E “Ubertus” Device. It's involved in another scenario where an imperial saint found and repaired a dark age of technology device that causes plants to grow with dramatic swiftness, to the extent that you have to fight plant monsters to retrieve it. There are definitely more than just that in those books.
Another excellent video. Well researched and narrated. But I have to come clean guys....I'm really sorry but I'm a bit of NEEEERD!!!! I hope I'm not the only one... May the God Emperor protect and keep you brothers.
Hey I know it's probably not a huge issue but could you add timestamps into your videos? I can't understand some of the more complicated words you say with your accent
Wait a minute i just wanna ask did they not create a book about the golden age of humanities technology? Man i was thinking if they do i would think about a mechanical scorpion space and land ship as one of their creation with the size of the eurasian continent😂
Let's be thorough about the Speranza and its guns. It keeps the good stuff hidden, and only uses the time-teleporting thingy with great reluctance when Eldar are abou to cause its destruction, and a former Mechanicus menial asks the machine spirit through a servitor. The Speranza in the first book appears to agree to work with its Magos 'owner' grudgingly 😅

Dark Age Humans: Demigods with Time Guns
Imperial Humans: Mon-Keighs with Guns
Pesky xenos are right after all, though no one will agree
And hang on, old humanity got in contact with the Eldari Empire before their fall no? Knowing us we 100% waged a war/conflict against them at some point
Xenos : humans are so primetive and stupid
Meanwhile humans: DELET GUN
Weaponized Cannons that shoot Shovels in Ungodly speed, beyond even light and reality. Because one of the Pre-Men of Iron Scientist thought it'd be funny to shoot people from light-years away with a weaponized shovel.
LoL
"We can kick you out of the server of life"
If there will once be a spin-off about the dark age of technology, it should be called Macrohammer 20000
Oh yes please
Got to wonder how old humanity(before the Imperium) acted? Their government, how their economy worked, if these old weapons were common or prototypes or military secrets, their main language and what about Earth's religions? Were they still a thing in those times?
Keep up the good work ! Everything about the dark age of tech is so nice to hear. We creaving for it haha
Thanks! But yea... its just limited, hope they expand on it
There are a couple we could add. The various technologies for ressurection that make up the Keys of Hel kept by the Iron Hands, the Castigator class Titan, and the infovore that ate part of a planet's reality where Olanius Pious got stuck during his journey to Terra.
Until they name the weapon 'Speranza Bonanza' I'll be satisfied!
hahah Emperor's Children just use haxx

This is actually good
Retcon gun? Can I beam Matt Ward with it? Thanks! 😂

I will look into it

Two uploads in one day! 😮🙌🏻
Well done on another great video. I thought that humanity had FTL before the warp, confined to a dozen or so light years at a time, like how the Tau do it?
hey man i was subscribed for a while now and your videos help me sleep ! have a nice day
Nice, just put them on repeat, win for everyone :D
For the retcon gun, would it remove all mentions of tge target even if they were written down in a book, or saved on a computet?
Good point, and I don't know. I think that is why there is an edict of obliteration.
Great Video bro. Every single creation of the Emperor would also be a good idea. Or even Archeotech.
Love the videos, my friend.
Perfect timing!
I wonder if the emperor is aware one of the moi are still out there and has plans against the emperor and the mechanics he claims to have met the omnisiah so I'm curious is it vashtor

So basically. First it was high sci-fi humanity like beyond startrek levels , then it devolved into grim dark.
Yep
Void dragon maybe
Use the retcon gun on the female custodies.
Awesome
09:42 bro I get it the first time, no need to repeat yourself
small editing error
Oooooh nice tech.... Me like....
Me too!

Twas certainly entertaining my friend
Your content is peak
Thank you!
Did the phalanx get redesigned over time?
I thought the gothic aesthetic we see in imperium designs became the norm after its creation :o
Adrathic weapons are awesome
There Is Only Lore 😎
so dark age technology vs necrons ... who would win?
Humanity has a good chance

So the thing about time stamps, it s that the youtube will add them by itself in time, my channel is just not that old yet, but it will happen
No
@TheLostPrimarch your English is fine it's just people not listening properly keep up the work
I can’t (spits) understand (spits) your accent (spits)(spits).

Yes, there should be more of it.
👍👍👍❤❤❤
I don't understand :(
Where is the problem?
