You can sell people more by subverting their critical faculties - making them captive. It feels like accepting defat to rely on psychological hooks to manipulate people. It seems like maintaining their mental deficiencies. Sure abstract politic thought can be reworked to be more concrete. That's good communication and not necessarily cynical. But annoying dances? You're relying on mental weaknesses in the same manner as Nike or apple. Again, it might work. But if you could get people to have the same emotional investment to Kamala as they have to Tony the Tiger, I don't think you've done something particularly good.

As gen z I think it’s important to have friends outside of family too. I have a really good family and some good friends too but both are really busy with life so ngl it’s hard sometimes.
My daughter is Gen Z-Alpha. She was born right on the cusp. A couple years ago she was getting caught up with following trends her friends were doing, like the ones the Left likes to perpetuate. We weren't strict about making her stop, but we constantly talked to her about how ridiculous the trends were until she finally made up her mind to not follow them like her friends do. She has lost a few friends, who have literally called her a "bigot", in the last year, but she's gaining stronger critical thinking skills every day and knows those people aren't the right people to hang out with. I'm glad we were able to steer her into the right direction.
I just saw my nephew who's 21 and he said he was thinking about voting for Kamala. I had a conversation with him about it with all my thoughts and reasons why not to vote for her, and now I'm praying hard. God we need Trump Vance 2024.

Think about this though; Those behaviors had to be learned or observed from somewhere. Our generation (born in 93 so right there with you) was screwed up because our parents let us be raised by TV and video games. And that was passed on to the next generation who had cell phones and the internet instead. Parents keep giving up the responsibility of raising their children and moving it onto other mediums. then turn those made mediums into the great boogyman of “(Insert generic topic here) is the reason (Insert generation here) is so messed up”. It annoys me that we put the entire problem base of a generation on those who were raised in that generation. And that the parents get to play the victims and pretend like their actions had no affect on the behaviors of the generation. These kids did not come strutting out the birthing room screaming “I’m oppressed!!!! I need to be validated through TickTock!!!!”. Those actions are learned. And could be prevented by parents actually taking an active role in their children’s lives. I mean look by all metrics I should be in that generation of hated attention seekers. Adopted by a lesbian mother and raised in a single parent home where she over worked and paid that price with her health to give me better. But she also raised me to be a well balanced and adjusted person who is not completely connected to social media. I actually tend to shut most of it off unless I need to look something up or am watching UA-cam. I own my own business. Struggle bussed my way through an education that I paid out of pocket rather than taking loans for. Worked my fingers to the bone to be where I am now. And I’m proud of it because I was raised by a mother that knew that being a parent meant actually being a parent. We don’t have a social media problem. That is happening, yeah. Could be another reason why dating has been so horrible, as politics are very important to us on both sides. We are clearly divided. As a progressive man, if we don't find any common ground or understanding, we may be in for a world of hurt. At the very least, dating seems to be a disaster for all of us. We have that in common at least.
The biggest mistake that conservatives make routinely is getting complacent. Gen Z follows trends and vibes. Millennials are shortsighted and driven entirely by emotions. I still cared about what my parents valued and what my family echoed throughout the kids and grandkids. Even though I wanted to fit in and vote “wild” I knew in the back of my head what the right thing to do was. No one actually sees what you end up voting. You can act crazy to fit in but still end up voting smartly, as you know you should. I’d say back then at that point in my life (I’m 38 now) fitting in with what was popular/trending was definitely important to most of us, but most of us also still had the desire to live out what we knew our family stood for. We still had a conscious to respect ourselves, our parents, our town, our country… no matter how wild we talked or tried to put on.

My daughter is Gen Z-Alpha. She was born right on the cusp. A couple years ago she was getting caught up with following trends her friends were doing, like the ones the Left likes to perpetuate. We weren't strict about making her stop, but we constantly talked to her about how ridiculous the trends were until she finally made up her mind to not follow them like her friends do. She has lost a few friends, who have literally called her a "bigot", in the last year, but she's gaining stronger critical thinking skills every day and knows those people aren't the right people to hang out with. I'm glad we were able to steer her into the right direction.

Think about this though; Those behaviors had to be learned or observed from somewhere. Our generation (born in 93 so right there with you) was screwed up because our parents let us be raised by TV and video games. And that was passed on to the next generation who had cell phones and the internet instead. Parents keep giving up the responsibility of raising their children and moving it onto other mediums. then turn those made mediums into the great boogyman of “(Insert generic topic here) is the reason (Insert generation here) is so messed up”. It annoys me that we put the entire problem base of a generation on those who were raised in that generation. And that the parents get to play the victims and pretend like their actions had no affect on the behaviors of the generation. These kids did not come strutting out the birthing room screaming “I’m oppressed!!!! I need to be validated through TickTock!!!!”. Those actions are learned. And could be prevented by parents actually taking an active role in their children’s lives. I mean look by all metrics I should be in that generation of hated attention seekers. Adopted by a lesbian mother and raised in a single parent home where she over worked and paid that price with her health to give me better. But she also raised me to be a well balanced and adjusted person who is not completely connected to social media. I actually tend to shut most of it off unless I need to look something up or am watching UA-cam. I own my own business. Struggle bussed my way through an education that I paid out of pocket rather than taking loans for. Worked my fingers to the bone to be where I am now. And I’m proud of it because I was raised by a mother that knew that being a parent meant actually being a parent. We don’t have a social media problem. We have a lack of accountability and a parenting problem more than anything in this country

I still cared about what my parents valued and what my family echoed throughout the kids and grandkids. Even though I wanted to fit in and vote “wild” I knew in the back of my head what the right thing to do was. No one actually sees what you end up voting. You can act crazy to fit in but still end up voting smartly, as you know you should. I’d say back then at that point in my life (I’m 38 now) fitting in with what was popular/trending was definitely important to most of us, but most of us also still had the desire to live out what we knew our family stood for. We still had a conscious to respect ourselves, our parents, our town, our country… no matter how wild we talked or tried to put on.

Brett I think it's more important to remind the left of what we have in common rather than to highlight the differences. We need unity, not further division.
