@@brittanymanon if you notice in London most of the places in London was Harry Potter was filmed there but if you go to Watford, they have the Harry Potter Museum there it’s absolutely amazing

Of course, there is a lot to see in London, but so much more in the rest of the UK.
Waterstones - did you know that books are free of tax in the UK?
And the biggest bookshop in the world is Folyes - you need the best part of a day to explore its many floors of every conceivable interest in the world !
There's a restauarnt and café to help to take it all in.

I’m so happy u came to London. Since lockdown we have been struggling with tourism so it’s nice to see Americans here again. If u ever come again I would really recommend u visit Cornwall or north Devon! (It’s south west of the country and where many British people go on holiday as there are incredible beaches and it has a lovely atmosphere but we never have tourists from other countries visit! Thank you for coming to our country!

@@Lajefa_bri (coming from someone who lives in London) it really depends what you want to see. It u simply want to visit London, maybe a week or two? If you want to travel around and visit other cities, the country side and the coast I would recommend coming for longer. Particularly if u are visiting Scotland.

Someone please help I am planning a trip to the UK for May 2025 but I am
Struggling on how long is ideal to stay there. I don’t know what places to see but definitely want to visit north side of England like Newcastle area
I grew up not far from The Lake District and went there numerous times for holidays, both with family and with the Scouts. Went canoeing on Lake Windermere. Absolutely love it. So glad you got to see it. I also worked not far from Blackpool. It's not the most exciting place apart from the sea-front. Southport, south of there, and where I grew up, is far more exciting, prettier, genuinely more to do. Southport's Lord Street is supposed to be the second longest shopping street in England, 3rd in UK. (Oxford Street in London is longest, Princes Street in Edinburgh second). Lord Street is also, supposedly, the inspiration for Napoleon 3rds rebuild of the boulevards in Paris.
That’s very cool that you grew up near The Lake District, that sounds so amazing being able to go numerous times! I was just so happy to go once, I’d be thrilled to be able to go again. Whenever I go back I def need to check out Southport’s Lord Street & Lord Street. I also would like to go back to Blackpool
