❤ Thank you for this great video. It is so very helpful. Your bread looks delicious and only a tiny hole! ❤🙏🇺🇸
@@mariapepper6175 your welcome
Thank you!!
You can take the dough out and reshape it and fix the hole and then place it back into the breadmaker
to bake so you don't have a hole at all. That's what I found out when I was watching other videos.
If you reshape the dough, the loaf comes out a better shape.
No, you will still have a small hole made by the spindle that turnes the paddle, just like here.
A great video letting us into your secrets, just what I needed to know, Thank you.
Your welcome , thanks for watching, an your comment, much appreciated
Thank you! I just bought my first bread maker and this was very helpful. Cheers!
Happy to have helped enjoy your bread machine 😀 thanks for commenting and watching much appreciated
I just brush my paddle with the oil & it stays in the tin when I shake the bread out, works every time.
Oh, have to try that! Thank you! ❤👍
Thanks for the advise I will give it a go
Thank you so much for showing the timing of when you take the paddle out! I just got a bread machine, and it's "white bread" cycle is the same as yours (3:20). I took the paddle out around 1:25 on the timer, and all was good for my 1st loaf ever. Great tip!
Thankyou glad I could help, thankyou for your comment
Love your accent.
Some makers beep now to tell you to take it out. I always miss it
Thankyou👍mine don't so I had to time it ,thankyou for your comment 👍
Very helpful video, thanks!
Your welcome thanks for watching & comment 😀
Nice hack. I will try it. Thanks
Your welcome thanks for watching
Thankyou so much. I had a look at my machine and removing the paddle will definitely make a diffirence.
Your welcome,thankyou for watching
I always get distracted with other things and forget to pull my paddle out. I have a paddle hook but it's so had to dig through the center of the dough to get the paddle out. I am definitely going to try this out the next time I make bread.
You could actually take the dough out of the pan completely, when removing the paddle, flatten it out where that hole was, put it back and shape the dough.
Good luck with your channel.
Yes you can ,I just show how easy it is thankyou for your comment
It's better to add the ingredients into the bucket when it is out of the machine.
Thank you for the great tips, it works! Though I misread my display and took the paddle up in 1:29 (it was dark and no backlight!) ....and the machine do the punch out in 1:25, but without paddle, causing it to just continue to over proof 🤣 But next time I definitely will do it better! :DDD
Thank you SO much for this! I've been battling for weeks to dig the paddle out of my lovely fresh bread. Now I know when to remove it.
Your welcome , if you find it difficult to get too , you can take the dough out to remove it
Keen to try removing paddle, thanks for that
Your welcome, thanks for watching x
If you are so worried, just put the bread dough in a favorite bread pan. That's what I do. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing

Well, as a man who usually watches football or boxing videos, this my friend, has been a game changer. Thank you for posting this, really helpful.

Excellent advice .Is 1.17 mins the same for all the other types of bread or only the white? Thanks.
I have done the current bread at the same , turned out fine 🙂
Thats fantastic, I wondered how i could stop getting the big hole in the bread.
Your welcome thanks for watching an comment 👍
Always be sure to put the ingredients in the order specified in the instructions for your particular machine because my Panasonic the yeast goes in first and the water last
Does it an mine the other way around 🤔 strange tha
O.C.D. !!
Problem solved…… EAT the hole 🤷🏼♂️
you still have a post hole !
Yes you do but not so big ,
yes the hole!!!...that's right...the hole is edible...just like the holes in Emmental cheese...as an asthmatic I love the hole, eating and breathing...a real joy
Thanks for this tip on removing the paddle, made a difference all the way in Barbados.
Wow Barbados ❤️ your welcome ,thankyou for your comment 👍

@@valleyvannersontour thank you!
Mine has an alarm to give you the opportunity to remove it if you want to.
Sound what one have you got ?
Don’t know the model, but it’s a Cuisinart. It beeps at different stages like to let you know when to add in raisins, nuts etc and to remove the paddle if you want to.
@scandiagirl mine do beep when to add to it ,would love to have one that would beep to pull paddle out ,I some times forget to check time an leave it in
Wow! Never would have thot of taking paddle out!😱Thx!
Thanks for the tip.

Since my last comment I tried again but as I am in New Zealand we mix our ingredients in a greatly different way & I suspect that our yeast has different characteristics as the end result is not as good as I expected.
I'm sorry to hear that ,I mixed mine the way the instructions are set out in the manual ,if you can time when all the kneading stops , and the bread starts to bake ,that's when you need to take paddle out ,hope that helps you 😀
@@valleyvannersontour Thanks I noticed in some other on line comments that 1 :40 ,was being used as the right time by a number of people but you if I remember correctly removed your paddle at 1 :20,& you were baking basic medium loaf setting 1 on menu.I will try removal at 1 :20 instead of 1 :40 next time
Ye it all about testing what's right for loaf you are baking, good luck
I basically want to bake white bread, wholewheat and Granary. Would you think the times are about the same for the other 2 recipes?
I do the same with other bread recipes an works for me
Thank you so much for taking the trouble to reply...@@valleyvannersontour

I have a different machine and was struggling with the machine recipes and had so many failed breads and was about to pack it away when I saw your recipe. Success at last and my bread turned out beautifully. Thank you so much. 🙏

I have a Cuisinart Bread Maker and it beeps when it is time to take out the paddle before the 2nd rise….works great!
That's awesome 👌
I wonder if that's why my machine beeps too? There's nothing in the manual on it. 🤔
@sushanart mine beeps after 20 mins to add ingredients if I need too ,check your timing to see if it to ad ingredients or take paddle out ♥️
❤
A tear in the bottom of my freshly baked bread loaf falls lower on my list than than which direction the toilet paper comes off the roll. Sorry, I am more concerned with other things, I guess -- but your presentation was lovely.
Sad, isn’t it? - the paddle hole is hardly the end of the world - really? the bread tastes great and the paddle hole is the most minor issue considering how convenient the bread maker is - the paddle hole is not a game changer. But if it does your head in go back to the oven baked bread. The paddle hole is a feature of bread makers - some big some small.
Oven is quicker
I have tried this, but what happens after a time the bearing at the bottom get too hot and and will get damaged and then you will need a new tin you have been warned
Take paddle out place grease proof paper over where the paddle goes and that leaves you with a bread with no holes at all
Thankyou for the comment I will give it a go
What is grease paper 🤔
@@soysan34 grease proof paper
Greaseproof paper is used in baking and cooking as a non-stick surface that is heat resistant. This allows for your cooking to not stick to the base and is often referred to as bakery paper or parchment paper.
Could you elaborate more, how there will be no hole with the grease paper as there is a shaft stick out from the bottom of the pan
