This is absolutely my fave song from CeCe. I hate that she really was underappreciated at the time she came out. Unfortunately, according to a friend of mine who worked for the label she was on back in the 90s, this style music was on its way out. She came out around the same time Mary J. Blige did. And he said he remembered CeCe crying and being upset about not really getting the attention she deserved. I definitely considered her to be just as good, if not better than Mary J. Don't get me wrong I love Mary. But I feel CeCe should have been just as great a star. Anyway I ran this song into the ground. This CD was in rotation 24/7 in my CD player during that time. Remember so many days rockin' it in my walkman at work and out walking. The 90s was an awesome time for music, dancing and just having good clean fun hanging out with my homegirl crew.
