Its great that grapplers are the only characters that you can do the 360 input at any direction on either side of the stage unlike charge or motion characters
I have learned this game works best with joystick and the movement you are doing always sets you up for the next move. For example I used to move fowards then do the 360 motion…. But now I realize moving forward is already the first part of the 360, same with the fowards knee lift of the fowards headbut
Woah dude I had no idea that after DR you can input up for SPD and not jump, that's actually huge, I also had no idea that the range on light SPD is so damn good, I've been struggling to pick a main but when I did placements with Gief I got to gold which is a first for me, my playstyle favored defensively offensive gameplay but I could never nail a lot of combos, so it feels good having the reaction or skill to bait someone while getting good damage in with his grapples. Great vid man, instant sub.
Great video, very clear and in depth instructions. This was almost a 10 out of 10 in my book but you fumbled by not explaining the inputs needed for the 720 as you did with the others.
"if you have too much frame advantage the throw will miss"... this is normal? what's the point of canceling a basic attack into a grab if it literally cannot connect?
Yoo I didn't know about having too much frame advantage. Maybe I can get into Masters now😆 Boss, do you know why running bear grab stops short sometimes?
@@WantSomeWhiskey818 No, it's not. SFII has no sortcuts. First time it was in SF EX series, the second one if I remember correctly. But in that game the input readings work perfectly anyway.

Not only can you use short cut. But if you’re on a fight stick you can flick the stick and it goes around for you

I started playing zangief from sf ex and sf4, skip 5 butt man, i really love 6!! Zangief is so fun that i dont even play with no one else
