I recently stumbled upon you & I watched a lot of your content. It's great. Regarding King's Tekken 8 trailer, one change which I'm definitely happy about is that King's hit sparks is slightly tweaked. And I'm glad that the one which carried on from Tekken Tag 1 PS2 - Tekken 7 has finally run its course. King is my favourite character & damn did I hate those effects. In fact, I think King's yellow thunder hit sparks in Tekken 3 & Tag 1 arcade looked better to me. Thank God Tekken 8 changed this! And as always, keep doing up good work!

Great video awesome vibe. I learned KBD using the "fireball" meta but some reason struggle on forward wave dashing. I guess I have that neutral. Thanks man
Which kind of pad are you using? If it's similar to the PS4 Pad, I place my thumb inbetween Forward and Down, like right on that diagonal. Then I push upwards to press forward and rock my thumb downwards slightly to press down. While holding that down I kinda push my thumb into the forward again and then release down. Picture a sort of rocking movement. I know that may sound confusing. The key your looking for is positioning your thumb so that you can go from Forward to Down as fast as possible. I hope this helps in some way, let me know if anything :)
Microdash can be a little different between combos and characters. A micro dash is basically interrupting your regular dash early. Sometimes people let it go halfway, sometimes a third of the way, and sometimes almost no travel at all. You interrupt it typically by inputting your attack before the dash can complete it's full travel :)

I remember watching Peter Y Mao's video on movement & there only I understood what ranges in Tekken mean. Some terms are just expected by newcomers to be picked up without any information about them on the internet. I would love for people to teach newcomers from ground zero to awesome hero. No wonder your tutorials clicked with me. Thanks again!
That micro dash timing is extremely tight. Even players like Lil Majin will sometimes drop it mid match. When I need the damage to finish off an opponent, I will do either df2,1 into elbow drop (D2+3) or I'll use the alley kicks into punch (D3+4, 4, 2). I will see if I can come up with a good way to teach that micro dash timing in the near future :)
This is true for most players since the motion required for p2 and p1 on stick are so different from each other. I know for me I started off being able to do it on p1, but on p2 I struggled. The important part will be to train both sides, and give a little more practice time to your weaker side so that it can catch up to the stronger side. You'll definitely get there, keep it up! :)

I recommend having a ruler, and every time you screw up a wavedash you hit the offending hand with it.
