- My fuel tank lid of my GSXR750 was always hard to open due to the breathers not working and causing a vacuum, it didn't seem to cause the bike any issues but glad I resolved the problem. Replace the rubber breather hoses with fresh silicon hose.
I have a k7 600 acceleration to red line is the problem wen I revvs it ,its like choking..
Couldn't find anything about this for my Aprilia. This has to be my problem as well. Thanks for the video!!
Where do these hoses connect to i got a 2001 and there broken and not connected to anything
@@Fazepapi-zm5sz They're breather hoses mate. They connect to the tank and vent to atmosphere..aka not connected on the other side
Thank you. I have the same issue
Do these lines plug into anything or are they just hanging down?
The Numads pretty sure they both just run down to the bottom of the bike where overflowing fuel can just run out.
@DeadAnimalEater 1234 no they don't connect to anything, just breather lines
the music is a chef's kiss. this was movie level magic
Does it turn off when you give it throttle before it starts bogging out a little? I gave same issue with my 06 1k I think
No mine had no real issues other than alot of suction every time I opened the fuel tank.
I have same probel like you on my k5 1k
I have a tube that is hanging from the tank that is leaking gas can’t figure out why
Common problem with older gsxr’s
This is happening on my kawasaki 636 thanks 👍
You're welcome bud
But where and how? So frustrating. Uggh my tl is leaking gas , can’t find anything that shows anything
I'd be checking fuel lines mate? Probably cracked.
hello i have a suzuki gsxr 600 k9, with arrow slip on exhaust and no cat.. in 0-3 rpm bike laggs and need more throttle to go..do you know what problem is?
You need to have it tuned dude
I lifted my tank and noticed a lot of gas leaking from the overflow hose. It wont stop. Help!
How'd that go?
Whats the diameter of the hose to ask for at the hydraulic shop? 06 750
O>
I have a 2007 Gsxr 750.
I removed my tank and both hoses on the bottom of the tank seemed not be connected to anything. I know one is the breather hose. But the other one does it have to be connected anywhere? Bike cranks but won’t start.
Thank you.
Pretty sure they are both breather hoses mate, i would be surprised if they had anything to do with your issue. Should be easy to check if they are blocked however
One is an overflow run off line incase you overfill the tank. There may be a third thicker hose that hangs out the bottom right side of the bike also which is a fluid drain hose for your air box it usually has a plastic cap on the end of it always good to take it off every now and again and let it drain
Where are they connected to to motor at
those two are your overflow and breather, not connected to anything.
What size hose did you use??
Cant remember mate sorry
won't the silicone hose react with gas fumes?
I haven't had any issues mate and seems alot of people use silicon hose for fuel breathers in cars without issue
Cool. I used silicon hose as addition to air filter, and in short time it got really sticky.
I got a 82 750 suzuki will run 5 miles and start to vaper lock on number 1...then it will come out of it by 10 miles...
82 ?
