I missed MSG during this time. Young mother unable to get around. I'm so glad Michael has that lust to play and see him in top form. Lucky for all of us fans!
One of my favorite Michael Schenker's solo's/instrumentals being Lipstick Traces. Thank you for bringing it to us the true fans who really know. This whole segment is incredible.
@@adamwarlock5286 for how good and inspirational he has been, he is underrated. Every guitarist alive should be praising him for what he did for the electric guitar and for the massive influence he has been on the entire 80s scene, yet he's not named even a fraction of the various Van Halen and company which we hear all the time everywhere.
This was the bittersweet end to mach 1 of MSG. The singer? They must've had a tour commitment. In Schenkers defense they should've been a shitload bigger. Especially with the 2 love songs on Built to Destroy. But thankfully, this, (Schenker gets captured showing a bar of soap to the cameraman) w/Scorpions, Bon Jovi and Whitesnake were captured on a commercial video. You should see what the kids were wearing then. Ha! But even at this, the end of the road...Michael is fantastic. Thanks for the post Axe.And Lipstick Traces? Great to hear again.
Is Ted Mckenna on Drums ( RIP ) but Herman & Francis were members in Schenker's Temple of Rock .. MICHAEL SCHENKER ( GUITARS ) DENNIS FELDMAN ( BASS ) ANDY NYE ( KEYBOARDS ) TED MCKENNA ( DRUMS ) { RIP }
There is no end to Schenkers back catalogue. He has a goldmine of material. All cards on the table, nobody can come close to him.
I will never understand why the jam didn't become a real song. What a masterpiece!
This is so easy to play on the guitar but it sounds so damn amazing. He composed this solo when he was 17 years old i think
Very very very underrated guitarist, incredible love his melodies

I don't put anyone on a pedestal, but Michael Schenker is God's gift to the rest of us!!!

Bass player looks like David Koresh LOL
Does anybody know if the 'Jam' portion of the video was ever turned into a song?! Schenkers discography is so vast!
Nate Jones I’m also wondering the same. I’ve been looking forever
Sounds a little bit like "Captain Nemo"
Amen to that, ;)..

I remember the first time I saw this in the eighties. That singer Ray didn’t fit MSG well. Michael was on fire, though.
only one cover
What is the name of the 2nd song?
Unknown. Something he never recorded. He seems to have jump improvised it. Not sure how many times he performed it on tour.
never heard that one before, who's that on bass too
@@bundwallah this guy is a legend. Beside Nuno Bettencourt he's also the reason why I started playing guitar.
This isn't the same as the tab on Ultimate Guitar. Michael needs to practice a bit harder and I'm sure he'll eventually get it right.
Иди тренируйся!
Great guitar playing. It’s a shame the drummer’s so stiff.
