    It's not too bad to form Qing quickly if you go the route where you take the Mandate. Sure you'll not be able to raze provinces anymore - but when you use the "Unify China" CB you get free cores on provinces in China that you occupy.

    • @calamari4125

      Mandate mechanics is not everyones Cup of tea, plus razing makes It cheap to core anyway

      @ORO323 Рік тому +2

      When I saw Dai Viet take the mandate in my playthrough they did get perma claims (or territorial cores, I may be mistaken) on all of China; not cores. Does the unify CB _actually_ turn occupied provinces to cores as of 1.35?

    • @DylanSargesson
      @DylanSargesson Рік тому +3

      Yes it does. It used to be full cores, but since patch 1.35 it's only territorial cores.
      That's all good though if you're an outside power conquering China (Japan etc.) because you're probably just going to be using Trade Companies in that region anyway.

    It's fine to go over 100 overextention as a horde because the subsequent razing reduces the uncored development.

    23:40 You do definitely want to be careful when fighting Korea. They will almost always be up to date (if you playing a horde) or maybe even have an advantage over you (playing Japan for instance) due to them having a static modifier on one of their provinces which gives them a +1 Renaissance/Colonialism/etc growth no matter what. This is also why they have two capitals as the province with the modifier will be marked on the map. It will also almost always have higher defensiveness and higher forts than other provinces. You can take it for yourself if you have an Eastern Religion, which, notably, Tengri IS NOT considered an Eastern Religion. Its considered a Pagan religion I believe. Otherwise it is destroyed.
    If you like Achievements, there is an achievement that requires you to be the Emperor of China when you form the Qing btw.

    • @ShantanuShinde1
      @ShantanuShinde1 Рік тому +2

      they also have 2 mountain forts at the entrance, which can be dangerous if they have taken defensive. My army was wiped twice as Japan, since I wasn't aware of that and tried attacking from north since I had land border

    • @Aleph3575
      @Aleph3575 Рік тому +3

      @@ShantanuShinde1 Yeah no joke I've lost entire runs as Japan or Hordes to Korea. I've noticed they have a tendency to take Espionage as their first idea group (for some reason) so they end up taking your forts really quick and if they have defensive yeah you're just fucked sometimes.

    Unify China CB is stupid strong; you automatically gain a core on every province you occupy, so conquering China is cheap and fast.
    I've been playing through Qing with the Mandate. If you're able to grit your teeth through passing Empire reforms and the constant stability hits from the cursed Yellow River events, you end up with some amazing permanent modifiers from the Mandate mission tree. Gold and paper provinces can be stonked, there's a reward for creating five colonial nations, there's a powerful unique tier 7 government reform...
    The Mandate still isn't top tier, but it's now more fun and rewarding to run the gauntlet.

      not really, espio vs diplo is an actual debate, and i'd say espio is better metawise for blobbing. Still in the case taking diplo is better because you can take horde aswell but he manage to totally ignore it which is a blunder. His peacedeal with ming before the min war made me laugh and he got lucky with the release nation from the min war.
      The remarkable part would be how well he handles his war but that's the off-screen part.
      So in the end it's just an uninformed guide that didn't really take advantage of recent patch

    Just in case anyone wants to know, the country of Jianzhou is pronounced "gee-en Joe" if you don't now how to read the Pinyin. Like "gee" as in the letter G, "en" as in the letter N, and Joe as in Joe Biden. The "gee-en" is this first word Jian, which is a place-name of arguable origin, and the joe is Zhou, which just means "administrative division".

  • @Alex-dp1bk

    It's actually better to form Qing early on because you get a special cb that turns all chinese land into cores if you occupy them during war. No need to spend any admin points on coring. Also, it's better to take horde ideas early on for that extra cav combat ability, which qing is focused on. I believe you can take aristo too, meaning insane cav combat.

    - No razing
    - Less cav combat
    - 10% Manpower from strengthen rather than 20% from the tribal one
    - Less monarch points/harder to core things/get tech (hordes can get ez tech)
    - Less money, because razing and constant war = big boy profit
