I know exactly what you’re talking about. Occasionally I have moments of realisation when I’m looking at someone and it’s as if I’m seeing what they look like for the first time. This happened with my mother recently like “wow this is what you’ve looked like this whole time??”

My daughter (she’s 25) has the exact same issue with recognizing people…one time I happen to read an article about Brad Pitt having facial blindness. I looked it up and realized that was what she was describing! You should check that subject out, it might resonate!😊

It actually sounds like facial blindness, which is medically termed "Prosopagnosia", from the greek work "prosopon" for face. The late great neurologist Oliver Sacks had it as well and describes it beautifully in his book "The Mind's Eye", highly recommended!

nope! i can’t legally speak on it but i was never emotionally married. i signed a paper to help a person i thought was a good person. i don’t consider that married in any capacity

I’ve talked to a friend before about the facial blindness/prosopanosia you can experience to do with adhd. There’s also a think called a lack of object permanence that might have something to do with like holding information of the person and their features as when they are gone you kind of don’t think of them/forget they exist. Hope this makes sense. I mean no disrespect in any way. Wishing you so much happiness and love always 🤗💙

Which it's safer than driving. Run the engine wide open, ease off the brakes and run down the runway about 90-100, then pull back on the steering wheel, while giving title gas peddle which offsets prop torque, just do it. Where it's up up and away, it's Super Cammie, ♡♡♡♡,. It goes from riding a tractor 🚜 to floating on a cloud. Then turn right, turn left, go up, go down, you're flying. It really is easier than driving. Then decide to travel, it's so much faster.

yes!! it is so helpful to 1. get more energy out 2. work on further recall with them and 3. build that bond and confidence. we only do it in safe areas and for frank only when no dogs are around since he is still extremely dog reactive

I think it's fine you don't really know what you and others look like and I can really understand that one, I don't relate to the not recognizing people when seeing them but it does not mean you're crazy we are just all unique and different yet similar. Anyways know that I understand the not knowing what you and others really look like and seeing others more for their personalities and their soul. Thank you and I agree with you on the thing that aging should not be ashamed but celebrated, not everyone get to live up to an old age and not everyone get to get/grow old and it's not easy getting there either I can imagine.
