"Being rich today doesn't take away my frugality mindset.” (Parvathy Thiruvothu) | The Real Stuff

- This episode contains references to sexual abuse that some listeners may find upsetting.
Join me as I connect with Parvathy Thiruvothu, an Indian actor and activist (and a longtime friend of mine) whose voice resonates with heartfelt authenticity. Listen in as Parvathy and I navigate the complexities of international friendships, how a simple message exchange blossomed into a profound digital companionship, and the beautiful realities of social media's power to bring people together. Parvathy is both a fascinating artist and an open book of human experiences, and I so deeply appreciate her insights about her income, sexuality, and her life’s journey thus far.

Parvathy ❤From Kerala India You are the most beautiful soul I always look upto all these years
Love loveee to see our South Indian actor here.
Its more easier to talk to someone broadminded...rather than channels that will cut paste controversial statements as they please for clickbait
I am a fan of Parvathy. Brilliant and beautiful actress...!
She took English coaching under teresa mam from spam international. I am recommending if anyone who wish to study English it will be an amazing experience
Loved this interview. I’m such a huge fan of you both. It was such a unique experience seeing one of my favorite South Indian actresses converse openly with one of my favorite content creators.
Thanks a lot for sharing your feelings, Parvathy! It takes courage to be this vulnerable. I could relate to this in many ways. It is in my 30's that I discovered a lot more about my body , mind , and desire. I follow Agents of Ishq, through them I learned to feel normal about my quirks( my Leonardo was a pillow)😅 You speaking your heart out makes a difference. Thank you for doing what you do! And Thank you, Lucie Fink for this conversation! I hope to see a future, where speaking about our desires and sexuality won't come at a cost! I do see significant changes around me, but there still is so much stigma, that is yet to be rooted out for the better. Takecare !
More power to you Parvathi🎉🎉🎉
This conversation is rather intriguing!
While I am fascinated about the courage and liberation ParwThy has the balls she has in her activist life.
I find many things very relatable when she shares her growing up.
Yet I cannot resist my thought of how our life is hyper normalised and not aware of which!!
She was already from the upper class background before coming to the movie industry.
Loved this interview! it was so interesting to see how different our cultures are and the different challenges we have in different parts of the world... Mental health is a topic that touches I think most of us, in some way and it is so important to give light on it and show how people can heal and love themselves and accept themselves as they are!
Agreed x10000! Thank you so much for listening 😊
I loved this discussion - what a sweet friendship! I love learning about differences in cultures and growing up, it’s fascinating! ❤
FASCINATING. She is an amazing friend ❤
Saw happy to c that this is discussed and see that healing happens
Love to see Parvathy here!!
everything ia great, but this is definitely not the accent in your other interviews
WOW. I'm a busy mum of 3 and I keep thinking to myself "let's listen to the beginning of the episode, and then do what's needs to be done". It turns out I listen to them all fully, and take it as a me time moment, so grateful for this Lucie, THANK YOU! The way you manage your questions and what people tell you is awsome.
Wow!!!! Thank you so much for being here and giving us some time in your busy day!!!!❤❤❤
Why do u have an accent tho?
I really appreciate the frankness of Parvathy. I wish her all the success
Parvathy is class and character
It was nice to see Parvathy in the podcast she is such a lovely actress and a such a soft spoken it is the first time I am watching your podcast and the way you took the conversation was too good and the way Parvathy responds to various questions was too good even the most sensitive questions she did well and she is like that and I have watched all her movies and on screen she is fabulous all the best Parvathy and have a great career
One of the beautiful, sincere and bold souls from Kerala quite famous as GODS OWN COUNTRY though I would say people like Parvathy makes it in real life…. May God Bless her❤❤❤❤
Love this ❤🎉... !!! More power to you girls .. 💪🏻🌟🔥😇💐🦋.... !!!
Great interview.. beautiful flow.. I couldn’t stop thinking about the interview long after I finished watching it.. the vulnerability parvathy showed despite being fully aware of the cultural landscape back at home that would only bring merciless trolling and jeering from a big section of people is a telltale sign of her bravery.. the content of the interview is dense on so many levels and significant for women empowerment and for humanity in general and yet the gentility of the host in navigating through this deserves praise.. parvathy,, it’s impossible not to feel a connection with you, being a woman and having gone through similar situations..
Hope this doesn't reach more Indian folks. If this reaches, there are more chances of making memes&reels&trolls.
Stay blessed Parvathy❤
Super parvathy . Proud of u❤
