Emily, my uncle had Bone cancer for 20 yrs, at first they told him he had a year, he lived for 20 years, its entirely possible to outlive what they tell you! It's good that youv'e made peace with it very proud of you! right on Emily!

My grandfather was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 1988 (year I was born) before it started to spread to other organs. He had treatments to slow the growth over many years. By 2001 the cancer spread to the bones and he past away in 2004. So it's definitely possible for people to live many years with cancer.

I took care of my sister, q daily of chemo and q daily for radiation, not same week. I was not concerned... Ot was my nieces that concerned me, she had to drink it, stay at clinic for 3-4days, could not be around us. I believed that Ms A is exhausted, from all the stress, all the running, wedding and so forth. She doesn’t need to get to the point that she collapses, REST REST! Relax and Chill, lots of water! Emily you can shave the fuzz off, have it wifey do it.. Smooch, hugs, and all that! XO

You are honest about how you feel and let us see the positivity along with the vulnerability that you are experiencing. I came across your blog by accident and feel incredibly blessed to have done so. I had an infection in my spine that left me paralyzed from the waist down and was told I would never walk again. I never looked at my wheelchair as a negative because without it I would have been bedridden. I rejoiced that I had such an awesome chair.! And because miracles do happen, I ended up only being in that wheelchair for 15 months. I am fine now and when I look back I can appreciate the journey for I’m a better person because of it. Stay strong and know that people are praying for you and Aisha❤️

I’m older than you both and yes I look at my life and think what a lot of bloody shit I went through and how I’ve been told I’m so negative at times. Guess not having an Aisha around to be so positive might be why BUT I grow and mature and the older I get I learned from my dad that the day is what YOU make it! I’ve had shit days but now I don’t care and I look for the good in the past and in my days and just keep moving on! It is like Aisha said you have to stay positive what are you going to do? Sit around and cry all day! Shit I’ve done my share of crying but I’m getting better. I’ve learned from you both I can sit here and cry and worry about everything or I can say fuck it! I’m moving on with my day and making the best day I can. Thank you both for that. My knees are so horrid bc I carried 9 babies to term! Today I cried bc I could not get out of the bath without my knees crackling like they would break but I felt ashamed when I listened to how positive you both are. My knees are shit and I don’t care! Hi Em, you have the best posssible attitude to be on this cancer journey! Your videos are so heartwarmingly honest and told with the truth of both humour and sadness. Not only have you raised a much greater awareness of this horrendous disease but you have bought hope, comfort and support to so many who are either living with cancer their selves or supporting a loved one on this journey. You are correct in holding on to some control over your owb life path as well Em because like so many others I know of someone who was given an iminent diagnosis due to the discovery that her cancer was in her blood, bones and skin. Like yourself she kept a remarkable attitude towards her situation from day one refusing to give in to it!!! In fact she has had many occasions over the last two years since diagnosis where she has needed to have cancerous skin wounds removed during her various treatments and now two years later her last scan has shown the cancer to be undetectable! Life can throw a miracles at us st so many different times its as your lovely wife says nothing is written in stone! XX
Absolutely brilliant vlog and I really get a buzz when you upload because no matter what is happening; you too try to find something positive out of each situation, or at least a blessing in disguise. I wonder if Aisha was just burnt out from all the anxiety of your last few emergency appointments and the planning of the wedding and this is just her body telling her to slow down. When it is you going through the medical shitness, you tend to switch off so you can cope; but sadly our loved ones, can’t switch off, because we are the reminder of the hurt every time they look at us. When people have said that I am strong, it feels like I should be saying, no; I’m not strong, I’m just not defeated by it all. Our loved ones are the strong people, because they try to stay upbeat despite being heartbroken. Great news on the function in your hand, I am so glad that’s coming back and Aisha you’re right, we do drive our own destiny’s.

I watch you and think to myself how lucky I am to have the health I do, no my life isn't perfect but I certainly need to be more greatful for how much I do have and the fact I've been given life. My uncle had stage 4 lymphoma with a very bad prognosis diagnosed back in 2011. He’s still going strong (currently in remission)

She seemed to feel better for a good while..after stopping meds. I’m so glad. But from this date …two months less one day. She did great until the last 10 days or so. I miss her.

Brilliant vlog! I admire both you young ladies so much! You both are soooooo positive! I’m older than you both and yes I look at my life and think what a lot of bloody shit I went through and how I’ve been told I’m so negative at times. Guess not having an Aisha around to be so positive might be why BUT I grow and mature and the older I get I learned from my dad that the day is what YOU make it! I’ve had shit days but now I don’t care and I look for the good in the past and in my days and just keep moving on! It is like Aisha said you have to stay positive what are you going to do? Sit around and cry all day! Shit I’ve done my share of crying but I’m getting better. I’ve learned from you both I can sit here and cry and worry about everything or I can say fuck it! I’m moving on with my day and making the best day I can. Thank you both for that. My knees are so horrid bc I carried 9 babies to term! Today I cried bc I could not get out of the bath without my knees crackling like they would break but I felt ashamed when I listened to how positive you both are. My knees are shit and I don’t care! Hi Em, you have the best posssible attitude to be on this cancer journey! Your videos are so heartwarmingly honest and told with the truth of both humour and sadness. Not only have you raised a much greater awareness of this horrendous disease but you have bought hope, comfort and support to so many who are either living with cancer their selves or supporting a loved one on this journey. You are correct in holding on to some control over your owb life path as well Em because like so many others I know of someone who was given an iminent diagnosis due to the discovery that her cancer was in her blood, bones and skin. Like yourself she kept a remarkable attitude towards her situation from day one refusing to give in to it!!! In fact she has had many occasions over the last two years since diagnosis where she has needed to have cancerous skin wounds removed during her various treatments and now two years later her last scan has shown the cancer to be undetectable! Life can throw a miracles at us st so many different times its as your lovely wife says nothing is written in stone! XX

Absolutely brilliant vlog and I really get a buzz when you upload because no matter what is happening; you too try to find something positive out of each situation, or at least a blessing in disguise. I wonder if Aisha was just burnt out from all the anxiety of your last few emergency appointments and the planning of the wedding and this is just her body telling her to slow down. When it is you going through the medical shitness, you tend to switch off so you can cope; but sadly our loved ones, can’t switch off, because we are the reminder of the hurt every time they look at us. When people have said that I am strong, it feels like I should be saying, no; I’m not strong, I’m just not defeated by it all. Our loved ones are the strong people, because they try to stay upbeat despite being heartbroken. Great news on the function in your hand, I am so glad that’s coming back and Aisha you’re right, we do drive our own destiny’s.

Emily you are a massive inspiration to alot of people,in your hardest times I want you to remember how you have had an impact on people's lives even if you don't know them. I watch you and think to myself how lucky I am to have the health I do, no my life isn't perfect but I certainly need to be more greatful for how much I do have and the fact I've been given life. Keep that positive vibe & I know sometimes days will be hard but you and aisha are incredible. As you said , it's not how long you live but what you made in your life in the time you had.
