Great vid. I have a soft spot for these budget Encore guitars. Subbed for “eventual, eventual” part 2😜

I had one of these, i think it had the covers on the pickups. I gave to a guy to setup. And it came back worse than when i brought it. The action was so high it was unplayable. Like trying to play on coiled springs. From about the 10th fret it was about 8mm and got worse the higher it went. Was like 12mm. Not even joking lol

It looks similar to the first run of Indian made E99's, is it Indian made? I can see a couple of small differences mainly the way the pick Guard is fixed. The one i have has no bracket just a stand off under the guard. I've put mine away, it's already 22 years old. Who Knows when my kids are 50 or 60 they could be worth substantially more than they are now. There are a few Guitars like the Fender Mustang but the one with the funny shaped Headstock also made in India. They all seem to be caked in stuff! I think they come out of the box that way lol.

Ah right - I can't see anything immediately apparent where it was made. I assumed Encore were Chinese but maybe it's older - I'll keep an eye out when I take it apart!
