I like a happy ending!. after 2 stage 4 GBM's within 12 months, my life was saved by my neuro surgeon inserting Gliadel Wafers during removal of the second GBM. I have now had 6 annual clear scans and am almost back to where I was before GBM!!! I am still working out in the gym to get my physical strength back after treatment with cortisone.

My mom had a slight seizure for the first time in her 77 years of life and went to the hospital where they found two brain tumors and then lung cancer (NSCLC) it’s also in her lymphatic system.
She’s starting Radiation Therapy for her brain lesions and chemotherapy two weeks after for her lung cancer.
She’s not doing well due to having severe copd and unfortunately she has Kaiser insurance that’s delayed treatment for 3 months (89 days since diagnosis, but who’s counting?)
I’m praying she can endure the treatments.

I wish my mom can be treated at your hospital on Monday she starts full brain radiation and I pray to god it works she is 59 years old started off as stage 3a lung cancer and within 5 months it spread to her brain and she has 12 lesions I hope she has a chance she deserves it 😢and I pray it works
I was diagnosed with oma cancer stage 4 11 months ago and after my chemo and radiation treatments I now have severe brain damage the mri’s showed. The doctor who performed the operation told me I have 15 to 17 months to live. But I’m going to turn it into 15 or 17 years. My wife has been very very concerned and has made me her primary concern . I am also or we are raising my grandson so I really don’t want to leave them because they need me. I had to retire after 44 years and 4 months and miss working very much.y

My father died of brain cancer last week. Herman Memorial performed the brain surgery to remove the tumor which was later diagnosed a stage 4 cancer. My father was 83 at the time of surgery. I feel so sad for my father because he had to endure a lot of pain from deep incision in the skull. He was never given radiation and chemotherapy. He was sent home. Doctors said that they were unable to treat my father. Had I known about UCLA laser treatment options I would have transferred my father to U CLA. I believe that we were not given options before the surgery.

My mom has leptomeningeal carcinomatosis and it hurts so much, she has lived with metastasised breast cancer 7 years now, against all odds. But it seems to be going so fast now. It's hard to cope. She's only 58 and I cannot imagine life without her.

My Aunt has 6 cancerous brain tumors. She is having Gamma Knife radiation. She's had 2 treatments so far. It has shrunk the tumors considerably. They aren't gone but they are doing another treatment in 2 weeks. I'm so hoping they can prolong her life for a long time. Treatment has come a long way so you never know!

If a person had a mild stroke from the brain, but has feeling and some movement of the right side. Will they ever get there full motion back?
I had an accident when l was much younger , l suffers with pains at the back of my head in the upper part of my neck , l wonder if cancer can grow in that area
I had a small cell lung Cancer and was treated with chemotherapy and radiation. The Cancer is gone and my radiation oncologist recommended prevent low level radiation therapy on my brain and did for 10 days. Was that really a good thing? What is the chance to have a brin cancer?
What about choriocacinoma that has gone to the lungs and brain
Vacuum the debris...? Use the catheter as a vacuum to suck out the cells that were radiated ... Thank you for your work

Last week my mother had difficulty walking and at the same time, she suffered from a severe headache. She is diagnosed as having brain tumours. She had had a breast cancer 3 years ago before she got brain cancer. Please help us out and save my mother’s life. We live in Iran and Specialists here have different ideas. Some of them advise surgery but others believe in radiotherapy and we get stuck and we are incapable of make a quick decision to take advantage of time. Please let me know if I could send MRI pictures of her brain and have your recommendation Dr Yang. As you probably know , There are inadequate equipments and machines to treat cure brain tumour. I am waiting for your response.

Âmor Èstillorê if I had known you before now, I have a feeling she would still be alive till now. A doctor is in indian who is good in curing ailments worse than that.
The studies seem very old 1990s and 1954 or 1989.
Be sure you don't have a bad outcome from a UCLA procedure. If you do, the hospital will want nothing to do with you!

I live in the suburbs of Boston . Which all the hospitals & doctors are not doing thier jobs. I have had bullae pemphigoid which they don't even know what it is. Im 65yrs old I have coronary artery disease & carotid artery which I had i knew I had on left & right carotid artery going up my sideburns to the top of the forhead on both sides. They did a stupid ultrasound. I told them a need the best image of a mri with contrast. My primary doctor is the most uncaring doctor. Im retired dental laboratory technician crown and Bridge laboratory. I had to learn the anatomy of the upper called teeth & lower. You have to have it you. The bullae pemphigoid causes a lot medical issues. I have a bulge on the right to & left & they are letting this go.
My brother die of stomach cancer....just this year 2019..l was in the other side of the world ..l wish l can just turn back time and tell him that all he has to do is eat garlic and listen music...but the treatment l think...is what kill my brother...but thanks anyway for trying to calm patients down with all your funny talk and fancy machines
