Ironically I came here to figure out how to get to the area where you receive the skyrest key. After following your route I later came back to the area and accidentally figured out how to do it the way they intended. Where you went left and rolled down, instead you turn right, use your lamp while in axiom and aim down. You then move forward until you're above an outcropping below. You then release your lamp and fall shortly below. Thank you for the great content!!
It's crazy to see how much you can miss even when you "think" you are being extremely thorough! This game has so many different pathways, doors and things you can easily miss it's crazy! Thanks Dom!
@@scarvello Yes but Remnant (2) is procedurally generated which is a no go for me. Didn't enjoy the first Remnant due to it because it felt repetitive as odd as that sounds.

@@Dylis I get what you are saying. Remnant has many repeating patterns in it's level and world design because of the procedural nature of the game, but I'd argue it still provides a lot of value in terms of exploration and secret discovery, though in a different way than typical games.
At 5:16 the easier way to do it is to go to axiom and use your lamp to walk halfway up the bridge over the platform, then release the lantern and drop onto it, enter umbral and continue.
Please continue on with the series. I enjoyed the Elden Ring series and I like this one as well. This game might not be as popular though, but it is great and deserves a thorough item walkthrough like this. I always view these videos once I've cleared an area to see what I missed and there's usually a thing or two.

You could always do a second playthrough with one of the different classes (rather than New Game Plus)...including the secret classes you get when you beat each ending.
Also just yesterday in the patch, they reduced the cost of the vestige seeds by more than half. From 2500 to 1200, so even though the limited fast travel still kinda sucks, I don't think we'll be stressing about seeds nearly as much.

Like everyone else I really appreciate these videos. It’s just the right length and the geographic title helps me know where to look for something I know I’ve missed.
What helped me in Pilgrim's Perch was doing the running heavy attack of fist weapons. You do a jumping kick. I used that to knock pretty much all the enemies off the ledges.
The boss in the sanctuary dropped her helmet for me instead of the leg wrappings. interesting. Edit: the room with the flowerbed at 12:45 has a locked door that uses the same key that the door by the vestage does (called the Pilgrim's Perch Key.) It contains the Sacred Resonance armor set.
I've done this whole section and just looked at that secret area, thinking "oh, I'll have access to this later". I left and never looked back. It's amazing to think how much I would have missed if I hadn't watched your video. Keep up the good work!
Definitely keep the series going, I subscribed after watching part 1. I’m watching as I play, so I’m at the boss for Forsaken Fen now but haven’t beat it yet. I’m going to go back to Pilgrims Perch for a couple “things I missed” and should be ready for things I missed in Forsaken Fen in time for the next video.
At 5mins or so. The better way is to pull out the lantern and walk on the right side. Then hide the lantern when you are above that ledge with the loot. Then go to Umbral!
I had everything on this list but I enjoy these videos so much. I watched it to make sure I didn’t miss anything. There’s a few side areas that you didn’t visit but nothing of importance in them just alternate routes. It’s nice watching this to just make sure I didn’t miss anything on my way through
I promised myself I would play this fully blind on a difficult class - and my level 50 inferno build is going really well now. I cannot BELIEVE how much I've missed on these early areas!!

Its crazy that he suggests trying to fall & roll successfully instead of staying out of the Umbral, so you can use the lamp to manifest the boney walkway, walk along it until you're over the real world stone underneath, release the lamp, drop safely, then transfer into the Umbral & continue.
5:14 yes,the easier way is to not be in umbral,use the umbral lamp infront of you so you can walk on the umbral part of the bridge without having to be in umbral,then just put away your lamp once you're above the middle part where you just drop down to get the item,then u can enter umbral again and go onwards. umbral umbral umbral umbral umbral umbral
Tip for Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds: If you're using the Thorned Crimson Rector Sword (or a similar sword) you can sprint around the arena faster than the hound enemies can move, if you use a heavy attack while sprinting you will swing the sword around in a circle doing a good amount of damage to Gaverus and knocking back/damaging and nearby hounds. Keep this up and it will be hard for the dogs to hit you, especially when Gaverus starts moving around the ring, and you will be doing damage both to Gaverus and the hounds.
I like to use my lamp on the red pustules, especially if there is an enemy beside it. Ots like a two for one. Especially right at the vestule of blind Agatha when you go into umbral and there is the moth thing. There is an entire halway full of them and bad guys coming toward you. I just walk slowly with lamp oit while holding RB on my controller the "parasite killer," and its like a daisy chain they all blow up in a row, killing everything in your path. Definitely keep doing your series... Even though im late to the party. Your channel is great, and you do an amazing job, brother.

I held off from buying lotf after reading all the negative reviews but as it's now on sale I bought it yesterday and got stuck on a certain bit today and when I went on UA-cam for a guide I was delighted to find your good self. I really enjoyed your calm delivery in your elden ring vids and look forward to your vids on this game. Which I'm loving so far.
When you did the slight roll and fell off the bridge, instead face the way with the bodies then traverse your way while holding your lamp then drop your lamp and you’ll be fine/ min 5:38

For the second part on the umbra bridge you do have to go into the umbral real yet you can simply hold out you lamp and walk over, look down and there’s a platform at the bottom, release the lamp and it will drop you down right on top of the platform if you are standing right over it, it’s easier to do and doesn’t have and fall damage unless you miss 😂
subscribed, this is the perfect thing I am looking for, when I played souls games, to explore first and then look at what I have missed. I am even on the same progress with the video, like literally played this area yesterday and woke up today to this video. I usually just play an area or part of an area at a time everyday.
For people who don't know - you do not need to be in umbral fully to pass through certain gates, walls, or even bridges. You can just shine the lamp and be quick, but if an enemy hits you, you will get to Umbral.
Please continue this series... it's so easy to miss items and I like to collect them all so that my inventory looks like I raided a hoarder's dumpster.
Your videos are truly awesome and helpful. Please, continue! In the area where we free Gerlinde there is a door at the end of the tunnel, there are some strong enemies and good loot, although, I can't remember what was 😅! And in the area of the boss, in umbral world there is a iten too.

I'm now in the city that is on fire, i forget the name, I'll have to go back to PP again and check what I've actually done! Lol 😂 Definitely missed the area with the hidden NPC, and forgot to go back to the river area in umbral. I must stop playing 3 different characters, I forget who has done what, and where! 😵 Brilliant videos, looking forward to part 3! The Fen was a f-ing 'mare to find my way through the first time! So I'm sure I've missed somethinh!! 😅
Oh lol, I started as Inferno and used that catalyst, not realising I could hand it over to someone. Switched to umbral spells thanks to how few Inferno ones I had found. Didn't realise that there was a merchant for them xD It clears the upgrades if you hand it over though, so make sure to do it asap if you wanna keep the boosts.

Exploration and map design are the best parts of LOTF imho! It reminds me of DS1 exploration more than any other Fromsoftware game.
