I remember watching this live with my Grandmother two years ago as she was only hours away from passing away (hospice care) she did peacefully pass away shortly after this song. I can’t believe it’s almost been two years now and this song will always hold a special place in my heart. 💛💛💛

This is what growing up too soon does to you. She basically pours out why she made the mistakes that she did in her early adulthood based on the fact that she was "forced" to grow up so soon. Married to early, children too early, major responsibilities too early. Learn to live life when you're young and hopefully you'll be blessed with adults around you that allow you, young person, to enjoy those years.
