Use tk8 frequently but haven't used mask calculator much. Mask calculator still is confusing to me. Some of the steps end up kind of getting vague.

Hi Dave, excellent tutorial, the calculator is a great and essential tool, a question at 4:52 Why do we do not use the mask of luminosities, or the average tones offered by the Caluclatrice? I use a translator I hope you understood my question.
Thanks for your tutorials Dave. Would you have been able to remove the white halo using an edge mask instead of the cloning tool? The clone tool made the job easy, but I'm just wondering if the mask could've been an alternative procedure. Thanks!

My workflow is to do the noise removal and sharpening in Photoshop as a first step. You can really use any of the Topaz Products. Photo Ai lets you do all in just the one plugin.

Could you make a TK8 video starting with a linear profile?
You may think I'm an old nag, but I only photograph in black and white.
I learn a lot watching the color edits and the one where you work in black and white I've watched countless times.
But I'd love to see one where you really dig deeper into the black-and-white thing.
Of course, I already have the action for converting black and white to PS and I enjoy working with it, great action.
