To me, the F-15 will always be a "McDonnell Douglas F-15"

To be fair much of MD was absorbed into Boeing after the buyout
@@slightlyirradiatedmuffin3257 Well, there's a saying that goes something like "McDonnell-Douglas bought Boeing with Boeing's money". The merged company kept Boeing's name but it was a McD ran company.
I'm just happy the F-15s are still relevant to this day, awesome aircraft!

@@BasedF-15Pilot Its a Semi-Automatic Electronic FCS replacing old Mechanical FCS. It allows for what you see @ 1:43 to be capable without ripping the wings off the F15s like in the old days lol.
did you see the full demo?? When it does the high-alpha pass then it just casually pulls up into a double-immelmann. I fell off my chair when I watched it for the first time it is indeed glorious.

I've never seen an F-15 perform like that in the post stall regime. AMAZING !!
I don'tthink post stalls are important anyway, BVR warfare was clearly the future since the advent of guided missiles, it just took a couple decades of refining.

It has Digital Fly by Wire Controls, New materials used in it's structures, that it is no longer as heavy as the first F 15 was to fly, and it can pull 9 Gs, where's the first F 15 couldn't = wasn't able to do so!/. Also, It has New Computer/-s, 5 th Gen AESA Radar and Wide Display Screens aso!/. So no!, it isn't the very first F 15, but Updated / Upgraded and a lot!/. 🙂😊😄

abs fantastic vid,first saw a F-15 in 86 flying at Raf Mildenhall airfete & i thought wow & to this day watching F-15e ops at Raf Lakenheath & countless vids its still got that wow factor,a 51 year old concept McDonnell Douglas(Boeing) def got it right & watching the F-15QA display at Dubai ive never seen & Eagle doing those types of maneuvers,hats of to the Boeing Test Piliot,thankgod the legend of the Eagle lives on

Boeing F-15EX offer for India's MRFA competition would be interesting. Would love to see this flying with Indian Air Force. We are already using Su-30, Rafale , Mig-29 ,Mirage 2000 and Tejas . If Indeed F-15EX wins the Indian Air Force tender it would be a deadly strike force

Former Boeing Everett - Lean Manufacturing.... I can still remember going to St Louis to iron out production delays in our F/A-18 Super Hornet. While there, got to see last 4 F-15's on production line, as it was phased out. What a difference 20 years make... now F/A-18's are being phased out and the F-15's have a brand new future.

They say it's a new platform, they built it from the ground up. But they could not be bothered to change or angle the VSTABS or add any stealth features. It looks like a small B-52 on radar.

It’s actually the other way around. The EX is the domestic US version of the QA.

It _is_ the EX, they just took the tanks off for their demo.
The EX is the QA with some modifications to be precise. The CFTs are removable and the USAF EX will not have the CFT tanks.

Add a low frequency to the f18 the new stealth jets hide from high frequency radar and what if you remade the f14 and called it the f14.5
Pre-merger Grumman proposed a highly upgraded F-14 called the Super Tomcat 21. The site The Warzone had a great story about it under this title "This Is What Grumman’s Proposed F-14 Super Tomcat 21 Would Have Actually Looked Like". Do a search for it. After reading it you'll want to cry thinking we should've had this plane, not the Super Hornet.

@@GolddenWaffles Lies, F18 students were starting to eat F14s up in training, that was a huge factor no one likes to talk about.
@@MetaliCanuck eh not really lies, the f14 really did some roles better than the f18 late in its career like dropping ordinance on bad guys in the middle east and kosovo. But if you're referring to a good ol' dogfight then yeah the f18 could always pull more AoA than the f14. My uncle told me a funny story about his CO asking him to escort his flight of 18's that were delivering ordinance into bad guy country after being lit up by bad guys' radars that were trying to intercept them.
