Because they fight against third rate air forces. They have been brought down by AA fire. Once they fight a real modern airforce then it would be a far more interesting claim.
It has been shot down in A2A combat. Blue on blue incident off the coast of Japan.

Only plane to shoot down a satellite , and has never been shot down in aerial combat. One of the best planes in our skies today
Israelis lost one to Syrian AA Missiles a few yrs ago 2018 I think.
@@michaelsamuel9917 Wrong, the US lost some F-15s to sams in Iraq, but the key word is AERIAL COMBAT meaning the undefeated number only applies to air superoirty vriants, if a F-15 is carrying 20 bombs, it cant manuver as if it didnt
@@richardsears4665 Yes one F-15 was lost to Aerial combat in 1990 in the invasion of Kuwait Scott Spicer was shot down he was downed by a MiG 29, unfortunately his remains has never been found.

@@richardsears4665 This is not true. It doesn’t matter if it’s an A,B,C,D,E,I,J,SE,or EX, they’re all in the same category. Only reason why those losses aren’t included in the stats is because the aggressor was a SAM, not an aircraft. No F-15 variant has ever been shot down by another aircraft

Taiwan has the F-16v the newest F--16 on the market, and Taiwan's pilots would have to learn how to fly the F-15.

I love F15s. Their body design is beyond words they are so beautiful and with a performance record to match, what's not to love? I wanted to be an Eagle Driver but I'm female and in the 90s that was not a thing. I would have loved the chance to see if I could have handled one but back then I was blocked (considering how I can handle some righteously modified late 60s B Body MoPars, though it's not the same, I think I could have done it) because I'm a woman. No matter, I still love em and am pretty stoked they've been upgraded and will be around for longer.

There has never been, isn't, and never will be a super jet like this magnificent piece of art, the F-15. The F-22 could have been even greater (being precisely designed to replace the F-15), and i still don't get why its production stopped.

Yup, not enough money to pay for all the F-22s the Air Force need. Ironically the F-15 at the time was in a similar place. It's why the F-16 came about.

The Eagle is a great aircraft. It got its pilot home with most of the one side of the wing blown off. It's not stealthy but it's a great machine .

How old is F-4? F/A-18 Hornet will be celebrating 40 years in 2023 or next year!
The F-4 celebrated its 60th Anniversary back in 2019.
F/A-18 will be 50 in 2028. Celebrated 40 years in 2018.

Looking back, the F-15E was the right call to make.
From the Wright Brothers to the Convair F-102 was 50 years. THAT'S how long the Eagle has been a top-shelf air superiority fighter.
