Thanks for confirming the paint issue being fixed. I just bought an s-9 and my 900 nexus faded, it is nice to know that this one won't do that. It's cosmetic, but it was a big concern! thanks!
Great Vid...where can I purchase an original S9 fader? I purchased an after market and im not sure if I should us now...or wait for your advice...on where to get it from
than why would you even post this video? how is pioneer gonna have a user replaceable fader and not want people to know how to open them for matinance purposes? why even mention the crossfader is removable? its all good ill figure it out there hasn't been a cross fader thats been made that i haven't been able to take apart to clean and lube to make them perform better than when they come stock... on a side note the blue stock lubrication that is on the faders is terrible.it won't take me long to figure it out i have built my own non contact crossfader back in 2004 and its still working flawlessly in my vestax 06 pro.As soon as i figure out how to remove the magvel fader to clean and lube it ill be posting videos on my youtube page ...
Sorry, unfortunately as I'm considered an "unofficial-official" Pioneer DJ channel, the information I provide may be taken as being officially sanctioned by Pioneer DJ, thus anyone attempting to follow the information therein who possibly damages their gear may see Pioneer DJ as liable for those damages.
Can you make a video on how to replace or fix the head phone out puts? Mine keep cutting in and out I have to constantly move the wire back and forth to get sound.
Unfortunately I can't provide technical detail on disassembly / modification / repair as it's possible users may damage their hardware and blame me for providing the instructions.
Hello I appreciate you video the question I would like to know is there anything going on with the paint being faded on the mixer because I would like to buy a DJM S9 mixer but for some reason where I am I can't find one in the store I like to visually see my product before I buy it I have to have hands on, plus is the mixer maid of plastic?😎 Thank you as well for posting this video two thumbs up.....
The mixer is certainly not made of plastic ... it's a solid metal build. If you buy an S9 now, the paint issue has been resolved. Any Pioneer DJ retailer could order one in for you if they don't have one in stock.
Dude. Thanks so much for posting this. Made switching my bumpers a breeeeeze
Pulse! Long time man. I remember you from the mid 2000's in the pioneer forum.
Thanks for the tutorial man.

@@DeejayPulse is there any chance you have the model name of the crossfader part you use for the replacement or pioneer will order it for you
How about the browser knobs ??? Can’t get mine back on for some reason
They're just a D-shaped post... should go back on easily.
whats that tool called used to lift crossfader knobs?
It's just a hooked pick, you can find them almost anywhere. tinyurl.com/y7mh2e9o
