Jango was actually a few years older when he died than boba is currently. I believe Jango was 44 when he died and boba is currently 41 or so. He obviously looks older due to the fact that Tamura Morison is in his 60s. But for Star Wars cannon he may look old due to scars from the sarlac as well as possible slight rapid aging from the cloning process. Although it is stated that he is unaltered and should age correctly, there may be side effects from the cloning process where he ages slightly faster than natural humans.
the twin suns of tatooine cause a faster ageing process physically, even if you don’t actually age by years. look at what happened to obi wan for example
I think Jango is the better warrior, especially considering his military experience. However Boba is the better bounty hunter as it was his choice of profession for vast majority of his life.

Boba was the better courier driver. All we've ever seen him do in any of the films was delivering an already captured Han Solo to Jabba from Vader. He's basically an Uber Eats driver who gets into too many accidents.
If jango was a better warrior, he would still be alive.

This may be my second grade nostalgia goggles, but I’ve always been more impressed with Jango. And while I fully concede that Boba’s colors are more practical, and I do like that rough, battle-scarred look, I always preferred Jango’s color scheme, and his dual-wielding-gun-slinger look. Granted, this is more cosmetic reasons than reasons based on his merit in combat. Though Jango did actually do more in One movie than boba did in two.
Ever since I saw AOTC in theaters, Jango has been my favorite character in all of Star Wars with Boba a close second. As far as being a better warrior, I think Jango is the better one. Being the template for the Galactic Republic’s clone army is once-in-a-franchise kind of feat.

Definitely gotta go with Jango on this one. Dude bodied jedi. Boba was great at his job, but he definitely did not get the chance to learn everything he could have from Jango. I think if Jango had lived to teach Boba everything, Boba would have been even better than Jango. Not to mention that the time in the sarlaac pit did some serious damage to Boba that aged him prematurely (hed be about 41/42 in Book of Fett) where Jango was about 44/45 when he took on and nearly beat Mace Windu (i call interference from that damn big bull thing... Very dishonorable Mr. Windu, taking advantage of that distraction to kill your opponent)

It's a minor detail, but Boba is actually a bit younger in "The Book of Boba Fett" (41) than Jango was in "Attack of the Clones" (44). The injuries Boba received from the Sarlacc probably aged him a few years, though.

I wanna say Jango especially because I love him in the bounty hunter game. I'm gonna have to go with Boba though he wouldn't of made the mistake his dad made in the arena not to mention he's the only one to survive a sarlac and went on to fight alongside the Tuskens that's nothing to be scoffed at while suffering from severe dehydration.
Jango has considerably more impressive feats, not to mention Boba got his ass handed to him by a droid that was mimicking jangos fighting style. Jango only died to mace because he didn’t know the Reek had damaged his jet pack. But jango literally killed a full group of Jedi on his own, all at once, with his bare hands, and has several Jedi master kills under his belt. Boba was the better bounty hunter, and was the superior tactician, and Jango was by far the more skilled fighter. It’s also important to note that Boba did eventually beat the droid mimicking his father by outsmarting it, but he was unable to beat it head on.
Boba flew into melee range with a jedi only to attempt to shoot him with a blaster. In the show he is handily defeated in melee combat by a Tuskan, and attempts to use a rocket in melee combat against the shield ninjas. Boba has more weapons, but has no idea what he's doing with them.

To be fair Jango did try to flay away with his Jetpack against Windu but it malfunctioned.

Boba beating cad bane is something i dont believe jango could have done, that tuskan training has given him the edge in close combat, im thinking how it would play out if mace charged boba the same way he killed jango, could baba counter the attack?
If Jango was born 66BBY and died in 22BBY that would only make him 42 at the time of his death. Boba was born in 33BBY making him around the same age during these events (around 9ABY). Probably can be explained with Boba time in the pit or the fact that he spent his entire life growing up in the underworld (too many spice dreams).

If you mean Jango charging at Windu, he would have held his own without the Reek getting involved. The jetpack would keep Windu from getting too close. He died because he didn't realize the jetpack was malfunctioning until Windu was on him.
@@LoLz16065 \\\\i very much doubt that Jango was capable of holding his own against Mace, remember, he was the best lightsaber duelist among the Jedi and was probably only second to Count Dooku. He could of easily nullified any advantage that the jetpack gave Jango using the force to simply pull Jango out of the sky. The guy fought Palpatine himself. The novel describes Mace and Palpatine fighting each other moving so fast that they both became invisible to the human eye. So Jango wouldn't even be able to see Mace if he entered his top fighting form, let alone have the reaction speed to deal with his attacks.
@@Dale_The_Space_Wizard Yea but the movies come before novels when it comes to canon sources and movie Mace Windu was nowhere near as fast as described in the novels, nor did he use his force powers much , giving Jango a reasonable chance to beat Mace at least in the movie.
@@dirkauditore8413 In the movies Mace Windu defeats Palpatine, who had already blitzed two high ranking Jedi masters. The two were fighting at such a speed that even Anakin could not see their moves. If even Anakin could not see Mace and Palpatine move, then Jango would would have no chance.

There is too much that's subjective. Jango had skills boba didn't, like his ability to akimbo his blaster pistols. That's a tip tire skill. It's more intuitive than it is learned, even for a clone. Boba had to focus on other things the over rode what Jango needed to know, and that was one of the most important things. Genetically, Boba is a clone, bit the experiences are different, amd he developed differently becaise of them.
I like to think Boba eventually became the better of the 2, really making his dad proud
Personally I think it would be boba because he was the son of jango and also pretty much his student jango would of though boba everything he new plus boba when he grew up had to learn a lot of stuff on his own. Another reason because I believe jango was a great teacher so he would've done well to teach everything he knew to boba

After watching tbobf, Jango is easily leagues above Boba. Boba was weak in his 40s while Jango was still well in his prime.
Jango killed several Jedi, went toe to toe with Obi Wan and only lost to fucking Mace Windu. Boba on the other hand got defeated by a blind Han Solo. And even when they brought him back in Book of Boba Fett, he got his ass handed to him by literally everyone in the show. The Tuskens, the ninja assassins from episode 1, Krrsantan, hell even the Pykes had him against the ropes in the final episode until the people of Freetown arrived. Oh and Cad Bane also had him beat until he made the typical dumb mistake of coming closer to monologue instead of finishing him off. I like Boba, but Jango is clearly the better fighter.

Jango went toe to toe with Obi Wan Kenobi and did pretty fucking well, he killed a supposed jedi master with nothing more than a single blaster pistol in the petranaki Arena AND was considered to be such a great warrior/bounty hunter that he was hand picked by count dooku (often considered the best warrior and duelist of his time) as the template for a massive clone army. Even when we consider some of their legends feats, I’d still pick Jango every single time. Man murdered a few jedi with his bare hands and took down Dooku’s former apprentice using two blaster pistols AND WON! He only died because his jetpack was fucked and he went up against the baddest mutha fucker in the galaxy! Boba will always be badass, but never forget that Jango was THE original badass.

I am picking Jango all-day after the book of Boba Fett.
I think Boba would win honestly. He was taught by Jango and Cad Bane the two best bounty hunters ever, and that’s not even including the other bounty hunters that trained him as well like Bossk and Aurra Sing. Also Boba killed Cad Bane who was considered Jangos equal. It is very impressive that Jango killed Jedi like that but that was back when there were Jedi everywhere, I believe if Boba were in that position he could have done the exact same thing. Also Boba was always kind of meant to surpass his father and honestly Boba could have more Jedi kills than Jango we just don’t know enough about Bobas bounty hunting career
I thought boba is about the age jango was when he died, I get temueras older by 20 years and he plays both but I think in universe boba is about or around jangos death age currently

After book of boba jango forsure. Jango was way more badass on screen for 5 min then bobas entire run on screen in Star Wars. Killed by the 2nd strongest Jedi only after building up a nice Jedi kill streak. Clone template is also a massive milestone for jango.

WRONG!!! Boba's flamethrower was in his RIGHT gauntlet, not his left. Jango's was in his left which means Boba's gauntlets are NOT Jango's.

Cicumstance made jango more powerful. That is something that cannot be trained even when your teacher is jango fett. Jango just went through more and had more battle experience and tried to recreate this onto boba, which simply cant be done. Long story short ya cant beat the original

Unfortunately for Rex, by now his body would be in its 60s-70s so stopping his aging wouldn’t give him much more time. The only way to prolong his life would be going the cyborg/brain in a jar route.

Boba and Jango should NOT have the same voice. I don't give a shit if Boba is a clone. Your environment determines your voice. For instance, a person that grew up in Montgomery, Alabama sounds completely different than someone that grew up in Queens, New York. The same for someone that grew up in Boston, Massachusetts sound different than someone from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Boba did NOT grow up where Jango did. He moved around for years of his youth, as seen in the Clone Wars series. So the idea that Boba should have the same voice as Jango is a fuck up by George Lucas. He should have kept Boba's original voice in Empire and they should have used a prosthetic mask or CGI'd Morrison's face for this mini series.
Well, the whole location thing is mostly because that's how everyone else talks, not the location itself, one does magically talk like a new yorker visiting NY, so Boba would talk like the adults in his life, either Jango or the Kaminoans, and he probably hated the latter
