It really is perfect. im a huge fan of the GT3RS but it's barely a road car. just going out for a simple drive would be rough where the touring actually has comfortable seats
I get that this is an overated or not discussion. But we all need to take a step back and realize one is a track car and the other isn't. These aren't supposed to be status symbols, they're different toys that you use in different sandboxes.
No, it's a "street car." The GT3 Cup IS a track car, as its only sold to racing groups and teams and is not street legal. It costs a lot less too, like half as much.
@@TheMovingTreeThe only difference really is that the cup car is gutted and has slightly harsher suspension. The RS is basically a track car that's street legal, which is the point of the car
And the GT3 Touring comes in a manual like the other 911 Models rolling off this year and last. Porsche makes cars for cars enthusiasts and they know their customers well.
When i first saw a porche (you will know what type it is at the end) i first thought it was the gt3 rs, it looked a little different then the original car that I saw but I didn’t pay much attention to that and so I started buying the gt3 rs in every car game but then i was looking at my little porche 1:36 scale i think and finally looked at the bottom and realized… It wasn’t the gt3 rs It was the gt2 rs And I was so happy about the gt3 rs for no reason
Don’t blame you tbh we all have our own opinions on stuff I respect that mate tbh the GT3 RS is a bit overkill it is a track car but why do we need DRS (drag reduction system) like this ain’t F1
Its a track car thats why it has DRS and maybe it is a little too much, but people that buy this car don’t buy it as a daily driver. They buy it for the experience that they cannot have in a gt3, for example trying out a bit of kit that F1 drivers use. You are paying not just for the car, the r&d and all business aspects but also for those types of experiences.
@@BoBo-pl3ww active aero and DRS are 2 different things mate active aero comes up to add more downforce but also add more drag prioritising downforce then on the other hand DRS is there to decrease drag prioritising speed
@@ozoioi79 you didn't need to spell it out for me. That's why I said "basically", because there's much cooler features on the car that could be mentioned than DRS.
I can respect the Porsche GT three versus GT three RS take because my personal preference is a more sporty supercar which is why I prefer the GT three RS but I can tell that you like more clean and simple looking cars which is why that’s respectable
valid take honestly nobody would know (people outside the car community i mean) abt the gt3 if it wasnt for the clout it got from that trending audio and it probably lead to its price being accepted that high
I’d prefer to get the GT4 RS just bc the engine and intakes are literally right behind your head so I feel like with a straight pipe exhaust and some headers it would sound MENTAL it’s also cheaper than the GT3 RS and imo looks better lil bit more sleek
I like the GT3 but I am more inclined to go for the turbo s as I have my eyes set on it. I just feels it like more of my taste. I am planning to go for it soon
I’ll take the GT3 over the RS as well I prefer the swan neck wing over the big active aero wing it’s still mad cool tho and it’s only over priced bc of dealer mark ups and the hype around it other wise it’d be like $300-350k depending on spec and options
My hot take: Subies are only better than Evos in rally. In terms of street racing, drag, daily and looks, Evo is better (I am not saying that subies are shit)
I agree and another take that i defend like that in the same area is that the gt3 is better then the gt3 touring I know the wing isn’t for everyone but i still want to be able to daily a manual light sports car and destroy everyone on the track plus in my opinion the wing looks cool
I agree on there but here's my take A CN9A/CP9A lancer is better than an R34 GT-R here me out guys heres why i think that. -Evo has 4 doors and u can REALLY carry the homies with you -it makes as much power with just less than 2 cylinders -ITS WAYYY LIGHTER -the evo goes 0-40mph in just 4.4Secs while the GT-R needs 4.6 -Its a rally car -parts are much common and cheaper for the long run

I love the GT3 RS, , but I would buy and own a normal GT3 for one very important reason The air intakes on the GT3 RS means that it doesn't come with a front luggage compartment or front boot . It's shut and welded down. Therefore making it null and void of any shopping pleasure. The normal GT3 has 120 liters of front boot to play with. Plus you can make the GT3 any spec you want
None of those takes made any sense. The answers you provided were opinionative when the question you provided called for factual statments. One is made for the track and the other is for the street. How could you possibly conclude that daily driving and apoearence makes it somehow better when that's the GT3's purpose in the first place? The price is certainly worth it as well. You're getting charged less than a 720s or an Aventador and yet you're getting so much more out of it. Also, the media doesn't overate it. It's one of the fastest production cars ever made, with it's only competitors being the AMG GTR which is just brutally powerful and the AMG one which is just straight up a street legal F1 car. For a track car, it easily provides more on-the-fly performance tuning straight from the wheel compared to any other car. I'm pretty sure it has the record for production car with highest down force, boasting 1,800lbs of down force, with the McLaren Senna coming in a close second at 1,500lbs of down force. Nothing about the car is overrated. It's literally just a good car in every way.
Have you ever actually driven both? I own a GT3-RS and have driven my buddies GT3. Both are amazing cars. But the standard GT3 does not compare performance wise.

you can't compare a track car and a sport car and say that you prefer the sport car cause its a better daily driver and doesn't have a buncha aero. You're stating the obvious. The GT3 rs isn't made to be a subtle daily driver like the GT3 so there's no point comparing them
