Nice movie Mike,last year i saw a huge monitor lizzard in the river behind New hut,i think the lizard was 2 meter big..

New Hut Bungalows -- 500 baht (about $15 U.S.)...
Mainly, I've just stayed around Maenam in previous visits -- this looks like another good option for checking out other areas on Koh Samui.

Will there still be plenty of resorts and bungalows available during the month of December if you don't book ahead of time?
December is the start of high season in Koh Samui so it's best to reserve accommodation soon before everything is fully booked.
