thank you, THANK You! THANK YOU! great information without the need to fast-forward thru all the unnecessary information! I love to sew. I used to do all hand sewing. I got to a point where I no longer had the will to sew but still had the desire to create. So, I bought a sewing machine. Now I never want to stop!
First, I just winged it. Then I started watching UA-cam videos...nothing is worse than listening to LONG DRAWN-OUT LECTURES on how to do something! it's actually gives me a type of "road rage".
I don't act out the behavior I just feel it.
Yes, I subscribed ... I am going to you from now on! 😍😉🤗 😊😌

Thank you thank you thank you...I cut a dress recently because it was obviously from way back in the days (my great grandma gave me) with ruffles from top to bottom. This isn't our (me and my sis) kind of style but I was inspired by it the other day to make a ruffled top. So snip snip. But then I realized I could make a ruffled skirt with the last two ruffles I had cut off to make the top. I was planning to use elastic and just wig it and pray it comes out well but now I have this video!

Fantastic tutorial! Great voice, easy to understand, and very informative
I love the 2nd one of how to zig zag it and then fold it over and stitch again. I made my first maxi skirt (my first anything actually) last night and stitched my hem and then pushed the elastic through. Because of it being a maxi skirt, I had a ton of material to push the elastic through so it would look pleated and it took me over an hour! I was so frustrated. This seems much easier.

None of your tutorial helped with that but it was helpful with other things. Hopefully you'll make another tutorial addressing my issue. Surely I am not the only one needing to learn how to put an elastic pocket on a purse. Again Thank you so much for sharing.

I really appreciate you making this video! Thank you so much. It'll be a quick and useful future guide.
I've only worked with elastic on one gathered skirt's waistband so far, and it was quite painful. :( I didn't use a long enough strip of elastic, so the first time I tried on the skirt it felt like it was trying to slice me in half! Lol! And then the elastic somehow twisted up inside its channel and wasn't flat anymore...
